--Olivia's POV--

When Matthew fell into my arms, I didn't know what to do. I was frozen. Elias and Sebastian helped pick him up and laid him on the couch. He looked like he was dying, and I didn't know if I wanted to save him or not.

"Who is he?" Sebastian asked

"Let's just say he's someone from her past," Elias said to him.

"Shouldn't we be saving him? I mean, he is dying, right?" Sebastian asked again.

"It's not up to us. Liv, you okay?"

"No, I'm not okay, his life is in my hands, and I don't know what to do. If we let him live, he can betray us and try to kill me; if we let him die, he won't be able to tell us about what he knows. How do I decide this?" I asked them.

"Follow what you think is right. Don't overthink it." Elias said. I took a breath and closed my eyes.

"Okay fine, save him. We can't let him die, but when he has healed, make sure he can't hurt us. We can't underestimate him." I said to him. He nodded and gave Matthew some of his blood. It slowly started working; he picked him up and took him away. I took a deep breath. I hoped that I wouldn't regret the decision I just made.

I tried not to think about Matthew for the rest of the day. He was healing, but I didn't want to see him. Eli told me he took him to a hidden house in the woods; this way, he couldn't escape or hurt anyone. The whole day, I couldn't help but feel dread, anger, and sadness. I didn't understand because I didn't feel that way, at least not in front of anyone. I put on a brave face and was a happy mom for Jonah. He didn't need the trama he just got over to get him again.

"So what's the history there?"Sebastian asked, sitting next to me. I sighed, remembering everything.

"He is Jonah's father and also my former alpha," I said

"Is that all?" he asked. I shook my head.

"No, there is a lot more. How about the fact that he never wanted me, and just used me for sex when I was only 17? He rejected our baby and me, then he somehow found out about us after we moved far enough away that he couldn't track us, and I let him into my life again, because Mathew said he wanted to see his son and be a father.'

" To add on to that, we find out that he was resurrected by the man who kidnapped my son and me, and he works for him. He stood by every day and watched as Julius drained me for my blood, and did nothing. Then he dared to come to me and tell me he cared about my son. Jonah is my son, and he was never Mathew's. He would rather let him die than give up his own life.'

" Also, to top it all off, when I finally think that we can go back to normal, and have an actual normal life, he shows up nearly dead and falls into my arms. I have no other choice but to have my boyfriend save him because I am too good of a person to let him die, and I need the answers that he has. Also, I'm just tired, I can't sleep at night, my son hardly sleeps through the night, and now we have a new baby which I love, but it is just too much for me at the moment." I said to him, breathing hard.

"Wow, when I asked you to tell me more, I didn't expect a story." He said, laughing; he made me laugh along with him.

"I'm sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest, and you're easy to talk to," I said to him

"It's a natural-born talent. Also, you have much anger inside of here." he pointed to his heart. "You need to find a safe outlet for that anger, or it will eat at you. Trust me, I would know; I nearly killed myself when I was angry and just kept it to myself." He said to me.

"What helped you?" I asked him

"Rose. Rose helped me. She got me to focus my anger into something I was good at. Fighting. I used fighting as a means to help with the anger I felt. Of course, now that I have a child, I can't exactly lose my cool, so I spar with Elias from time to time to help loosen me up. Just find something you like to do, and use it." he said.  I nodded. I heard Levi crying in the back, and motioned for Sebastian to get him. I was back to being alone on the couch. I thought over what he had said. What am I good at doing?

"You okay?" Elias asked walking in. I shook my head. I motioned for him to sit next to me and snuggled close to him. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked.

"I'm angry, and I don't know what to do, plus I can't sleep meaning I'm tired all of the time," I said to him. He pulled me closer, and ran his hands through my hair, calming me.

"I'm sorry I was away for so long. I should have been here for you more." He told me I shook my head.

"No, you were doing the right thing. You needed to make sure that we all would be safe, and the threat came to us, so we kinda are." I said he laughed.

"You think that huh," he said smiling, I laughed.

"Hey, a girls gotta dream right," I said, making him laugh. "Did you get anything form him?" I asked, his mood changed. I sat up noticing. "What did he say?" I asked again

"It doesn't matter right now, just enjoy the moment we are having," he said trying to pull me back to him, I pushed his hand away.

"Tell me what he said," I said to him, the anger now building up.

"I don't think I should..." He said. I was now standing up.

"Fine, if you won't tell me, I'll just go get the answers myself," I said turning around in anger. he grabbed me.

"Okay, I'll tell you, but you won't like it," he said. I was silent waiting for his response. " He said that your father, the man who died with your mother, isn't your father at all." He said.

"No, he's lying," I said

"Liv, he was not lying, I forced him to tell me the truth, and that was what he kept repeating." He said. Now, the anger was getting mixed in with the confusion, and all I could see was red. "Liv, I'm gonna need you to calm down okay," he said to me.

" I am done being calm," I said to him, he came up to me, but without warning, I threw him across the room. He hit the wall and got back up.

"Liv please, I don't want to hurt you."He said

"No Eli, I'm going to go find him, and I'm going to get the truth even if I have to force it out of him," I said. I turned away from him and sped away. Elias caught me though, and quickly, he injected me with something, and my body went numb. My vision was slowly going black.

"I'm sorry Liv, but you'll understand soon." These were the last words I heard him say before I went unconscious.
