Dee's Diner

I awoke to immediate chaos my room was full of workers that was one by one taking my stuff out the room. I got up immediately an began to scream, and force the workers to leave. I walked out my room and into the hallway when there she was standing right there in my face, my mother.

She definitely looked better than the last time I seen her. I said to her," wow, the rehab really did change you. Huh?"

She nodded and said," Carly, I'm here because, I wan-" I cut her off short I said quickly," when I ask what you're here for that's when I'll want to hear that from you."

Other than that don't speak, because I already have a lot on my mind. Then she interrupted," I didn't ask what you had to do, and when I ask that of you that's when I'll want to hear that from you."

I stopped in my tracks and smiled I thought to myself," I always knew where I got it from." Then I walked to kitchen my mother was still standing in the hallway I gestured to her that it was okay for her to follow.

She sat down at the table and said," the workers are taking your stuff to the dump. They are workers from the city and they came in this morning."

I nodded in understand meant and then I dropped my coffee mug to the floor I was having excruciating pain coming from my stomach I needed to be rushed to the hospital.

My mother grabbed my arm in concern and immediately rushed me to the hospital. While I was in the passenger seat I blacked out.

When I awoke I seen my mother standing over me, I blinked my eyes & looked around the room. There wasn't any doctor that's when I spoke," Carlina you can leave now."

My mother looked at me with disbelief and said," you've always been stubborn but not this stubborn I can't believe at a time like this when you need family the most that you're abandoning them."

I turned my head I didn't need a lecture I said to her after that," I can follow you right out the door because I'm not staying in this shit hole." I unplugged the IV and got up and began to walk out when my mother scolded down the hall," where will you go? You don't have an condo anymore nor a car so I hope with that huge ego you got you have a huge check to get all your stuff back."

I gave my mother the middle finger as she walked out, that's when I seen him again Alaan. It seems as if whenever I'm in the hospital he's here too, I hesitated because it felt like I was being followed.

I was greeted with a big warm kiss, I didn't retreat. That's when he started unbuttoning my shirt right in the middle of the hospital lobby, I retreated then.

That's when I said to him," Alaan nt here then I yanked in the hospital bathroom and again we had aggressive angry sweaty sex.

When I walked out the bathroom Alaan called after me and said," listen Carly, I want to take you out to dinner tomorrow night and I would love if I could treat you to a nice steak with a candlelight setting."

I grinned and agreed that's when I stepped outside into the real world.

I didn't have a car, a roof over my head nothing and my clothes were getting dirtier and dirtier.

I walked down the street I didn't know where I was going but I was starving, I walked up a small diner with the words Dee in big neon letters on the front of it. I say down and ordered 2 burgers and 2 sodas and to top it all off with a triple chocolate sundae, that's when the bill hit the table, 32.73 it read.

But 2.49 is what my purse read. I tugged on the waitresses sleeve and said." Excuse me miss but I

Can't pay for this meal I don't have enough." Then she responded sharply," I'll have to get Dee.

That's when Dee came out from the kitchen and walked right forwards me, I was nervous and I don't exactly know how react, and right on the spot a blow to my nose.

She yelled," you like coming to my restaurant and not paying? Huh? You stupid bitch? Get up so I can finish you."

I got up and charged at Dee, who took this as a chance to grab my arm and to break all bones in it. I yelled in pain and then without even a warning she threw me out the front door.

I landed right on the pavement and then I crawled to the nearby alley and just cried and cried, it felt like everything in my life was blowing up right in my face. I was quietly wept in despair, I was scum the scum of scum I was nothing no, that's not right I was Carly.
