Chapter 19 / The Captains Decision

The captains has made a decision on what to do next, and now all they have to do is announce it to the shinigamis.

"You all know what happened to Ayasegawa right?" Captain Kuchiki started, a lot of them saddened hearing Yumichika's last name. Even a few (like Zaraki) looked away.

Byakuya Kuchiki Sighed sensing the sad atmosphere.
"I know how you all feel." Byakuya said and eyeing each people in the room especially Kenpachi Zaraki who has his head down ever since. "I feel sad too. But, we don't want you all to feel this kind of pain again and again. And also, having the fear of being eaten alive." A few of them have flashbacks on seeing people getting eaten right infront of their eyes.

"That's why...We---"

"We'll send you back to Soul Society." Shunsui said cutting Byakuya off. Byakuya turned to Shunsui a little annoyed that he cut him off. But just brush it off and decided to focus on the current situation.

"There must be a few people who'll come back. We know that you want to help them, we also do. But, we also don't want any of you to die. Sure, they say that there is at that risk but after seeing them.....We'd like atleast a few of you here, could survive."

No one talked, even the wind didn't talk. Not a single sound is made, and no one would dare to break it.

"So what now?" Ichigo asked standing up from his seat, putting a hand on the table infront of him. "We'd like to help them tha---"

"Ichigo!" Jushiro shouted his name, which startled the orange-haired. "You have a family! You have a future! I don't want you or your friends die in this place! We all know that you want to save and help these people, but! We don't want your families to hear that you've died this early! I don't want them to see you next time as a corpse." What Jushiro said is true and not even one of them want their love ones to see them next time as a corpse.

"I will come back to Soul Society. There are only 5 captains and 6 vice captains present at Seireitei. There may be an enemy, and we are at a disadvantage. We need a few people to go back to Soul Society. We give chance of survival to you. And we'll also announce that to the soldiers." Then Jushiro have a coughing fit for talking too much and a bit loud. Shunsui, being his best friend aided to him immediately. Rukia also rushed to her captain.

Everybody think about what the captains just have said. They know from the start that they are risking their lives for this. But after hearing/seeing what happened to Yumichika they know what those warnings really mean now. But they all like to play the hero who have their lives at stake for other people. Their safety or the people of this world salvation? Such a hard question, indeed even for the captains.

Nobody talked, analyzing on what the captains said to them. They'd be saving their own lives but this world's people safety isn't sure. At the opposite side of the coin, they'd be risking their lives for the people of this world but their safety isn't sure.

"I'll go back." Nanao said, earning everybody's attention. "I came here to help people in medical attention, but i can't use kido in this world and i can't help them. I'd just be a nuisance here, and so i'll go back to Soul Society. I'd be more useful there at the moment."

"I think i too." Uryu said adjusting his eyeglasses. "I'm not afraid or anything, but i'm thinking of my future. I'm a human, a quincy and i can be selfish at times. But i'd guess i can't do much here either. The spiritual particles here are low and so i can't use my bow. In medicinal, i don't have the equipments and the medicines that i know that i use back in the human world so i guess i'd go back than sitting back here."

"Me too" Chad raised his hand. "I don't do speeches so that's what i'll only say."

"I guess only 1 of the 8 captains here will come back." Jushiro said turning his gaze to the other captains, analyzing their facial expression that will determine what they want to do at the moment

"I'll stay" Rukia raised her hand. "I might be a help here. I can use the 3DMG so i can help."

"Yumichika can use the 3D Maneuver Gear and could help. But still something happened to him." Soi Fon faced Rukia her arms across. She just remembered how Ayasegawa looked like the last time she saw him, and is terrified about it. "I'm afraid. But i'll stay here in this world. I'll kill the titan who killed Ayasegawa."

"I'm sorry to break it to you Captain Soi Fon. But i'd guess the captains should come back more than we do. It's easy to replace us than yo---"

"No" Kenpachi said, he then raised his head eyeing Ikkaku by the eye. Such a scary and terrifying face he shows. "Ikkaku...Are you saying that Yumichika can be easily replacen? I think not. Especially for you and me."

Ikkaku looked down, knowing what the captain means. And remembering what he couldn't do at the time. He gritted his teeth, and about to tear up but still he raised his head up. "I guess what i said is wrong....." His voice is shaking remembering on what could be the last time he could see his long time best friend Yumichika. "Captain Soi Fon...I'll be the one who'll kill the titan."

"Sorry Ikkaku. I'll be the one to do it." Kenpachi said

"I'd guess i'll go back. They might need my power there. How about you, captain?" Iba said

"Yeah. Only 2 of the 8 captains can use the 3D Maneuver Gear." Shuhei said

"I guess i'll stick here for some time and come back to Soul Society after a few months." Komamura said

"I don't know about them but i'll be at the research team along with Nemu here. We'll uncover the secrets of the titans. so i can't go back." Mayuri said seriously rather than his usual psychopathic-like personality.

"So what about the rest of you?" Toshiro asked

I was thinking if i should continue this. And i think i should write other stories other than Beerus Revenge and The Lost Ice Brothers and Anime Academy.

Sorry guys we have a lot of projects in school. The due date of some of these projects are up until Valentines and the day after. So, i need to work on them and because i focus on them and play Anime music using my phone i enjoy somehow what i am doing. Especially because it is from one of my favorite subjects, Science. But honestly i only like Science if i like what topic we are talking about. If the topic we are talking about is uninteresting or hard to understand i ask myself sometimes why i like Science. Well, English is my favorite. The Grade 7s (I'm in Grade 8) made a survey on what subject people likes the most and i write "English & Science".
