"Hey, Soi Fon-san. You okay?" Soi Fon looked up and saw Sasha's worried eyes looking straight at her. Seeing how depressed looking the Soul Reaper is.

"I don't think so. But, i'm not that at bad condition either." Soi Fon answered, looking down on the floor again.

"I understand." Sasha said. "Everybody else is like that also. Especially at our first close encounter with the titans. But as we have more experience, we somehow got used to it but we are still afraid of our lives, of course."

Soi Fon looked at Sasha's eyes. How can something and someone as her suffering in this kind of world? Why are the people here are even suffering? Everyday, every second afraid of their lives might be gone the next day. "Why...?" Soi Fon muttered

"Huh?" Sasha asked

"Why don't you just evacuate to our world? It may not be perfect but you can live without the fear of your life being taken from you the next day. There are food supply, water supply, electricity and necessities. Why don't you just evacuate from this world?"

Sasha's face is of confusion at first, then she smiled a sheepish smile. "Because...This is my home." Soi Fon's eyes widened. The answer. The answer is because this is their home. But this place is very dangerous! Wouldn't they rather have their lives than their home?

Soi Fon really couldn't believe it. She stood up from where she is sitting on and say; "It's very dangerous! This world is dangerous! The Titans are dangerous! You don't know that you may be-----"

"I know" Sasha said, cutting off Soi Fon. Sasha has a sad look on her face. "But i can't. This world is my home. I just can't leave it. Anyways, i can't leave especially since there are still a lot people who need to protected." Sasha gave a closed eye smile to the Soul Reaper captain.

Soi Fon doesn't know what Sasha is feeling. I mean, Soi Fon even mentioned 'food supply' but the brown haired girl didn't seem to hear it. Is this home really that important to her? That she won't leave unless perhaps all the citizens are safe? Is Sasha even telling her true feelings?

"Are you hiding your feelings?" Soi Fon asked staring at Sasha. While Sasha asked, "Eh?". Soi Fon walked towards Sasha and grabbed both of her shoulders. "People here, deserve a life where they are not afraid of being eaten. Afraid that maybe tomorrow their lives will be gone. That's why, we suggest that you could live in our world. Do you value this,..Scary place that much that you almost don't care about your life?"

Sasha didn't answer immediately, she stared at Soi Fon and looked down. "I...I need to protect the people of this world. Yes, i want to escape from this world. But! I am a soldier. A survey corps member, in fact. I chose this path to protect those who are helpless inside the walls, even there are people who don't appreciate what we do. I won't just escape on my own. If you want people to escape that badly, ask the civilians first. Then after that, ask us soldiers. You are in some kind of military too, right? And you're a high ranking one too. Don't you feel the same way as i do?"

Soi Fon's eyes widened, she haven't think of it. Soi Fon is the captain of both the 2nd Division and the Stealth Force. They are doing assassination and stuff like that. 'Do what you must in order to complete the mission' that is what they teach to those who became members of the stealth force and actually of any shinigami. If you need to leave your teammate behind and escape to go and finish your mission, then it is the right thing to do. "I'm sorry."

"What? Don't be sorry." Sasha said kind of surprised.

"There is...A protocol that we follow. 'Do what you must in order to complete the mission'. That is what we are taught in the Stealth Force. So,...Even if you need to leave someone behind just to complete the mission, whether or not you want to leave them, it is what you need to and it is the right thing to do."

Sasha didn't answer yet, analyzing what she just heard and all new information. And probably, thinking of an acceptable answer. Sasha then is the one who put a hand on the other's shoulder, she gave a smile to the Soul Reaper. "Well, you do not have a mission very crucial that you need to leave anybody else behind, right?"

Soi Fon eyes widened. What mission is she thinking that is needed to leave anybody else behind? She is here to help the people of this world. It is not a mission actually, it is a request coming from the people of this world and the Head Captain didn't decide who will go and who will not. They volunteered on their own. This is not a mission. But they must do something to protect the people of this world. "Hah" Soi Fon looked down. "I'm an idiot."

"Don't say that." Sasha comforted the Shinigami captain as her eyes began to water.

"I'm just...Afraid...That everybody, i.." Soi Fon said, and fall down on the ground kneeling on the floor. Sasha joins her to the ground to comfort the female Soul Reaper. "I can't erase the memory of Ayasegawa at those  moments. I don't know, maybe at the next exhebition i will be next. Or somebody that i know. I feel weak. I can't do anything. If only i... If only i....." Tears began to fall down from the Soul Reaper's eyes. All the frustration, sadness, fear and everything. Everything that her words can't explain, gives the tears from her eyes the opportunity to be the one to explain.

"It's okay" Sasha said rubbing the back of the Soul Reaper captain's back. "I know what you feel. Everything. I am afraid. Everyday. All of the frustration, fear and sadness. I know what you feel."

"Ikkaku-san..." Renji and the others are all worried for their fellow shinigami. Ikkaku and Yumichika are best friends for a veerrryyy long time. Even before the two became shinigami and even before they met Kenpachi Zaraki (who is actually the reason why the two became shinigami), the two were best friends. Renji and the others don't know how sad and depressed the 3rd Seat of the 11th Division is.

Shuhei put a hand on Renji's shoulder from behind, when the red haired turned to look at the violet-haired, the latter shook his head. "Let's just leave him. He needs some time. We'll just wait for him to recover."

"But we need to do something." Renji said. Renji doesn't know what it feels to have your best friend die, but he knows what it feels to just let your best friend go and you two don't interact with each other anymore. He,...He didn't do anything. He was a coward. When Rukia left and became a member of the Kuchiki family and went separate ways with Renji, he didn't do anything. Nothing. But now they became friends again, he knows that when someone is having the same situation as he did, he'll advise that try and get your friendship back.

"We know that. But,...Before we can help him recover, his mental state should recover on its own." Shuhei said.

Renji stared at Shuhei, not giving an answer. Since what he said is right.

"Before we can have him back, he should be able to come back on his own." Kira said

"What does that mean?" Renji sweatdropped. "Like, he is already back so why bothering to make a way to bring him back?"

"Just try and understand." Kira said

"Eh??!"

I don't know why i decided to write this, but i think i need to. Also, maybe the next chapter or the next, i am planning on writing something that will shock you....Maybe shock is not the right word, though. Maybe only just surprise? I don't know what you feel at that time though.
