Never underestimate annoying

After an hour of scouring the small forest, Lance found a small clearing in the center with an apple tree growing in the center. He sighed, after seeing no trace of Keith for over an hour of searching, he started to give up hope. He grabbed a branch of the tree to grab an apple he noticed growing in the branches. If it was any other branch, the sleeping boy in the tree would have gone unnoticed, but it just so happened that that branch was the same one Keith was leaning on. As Lance shook the apple free, Keith woke with a start and tumbled head first out of the tree.

"why do I always find you in trees?" Lance asked a wide eyed Keith "And why did you run away again? Didn't we establish that you didn't need to last time we saw each other?"

" Because I like trees" replied Keith simply

"And why did you climb out your window?"

" well I looked like shit..."

"I know that isn't worthy of you running away over, whats the real reason?"

"I didn't want you to get attached to me, I mean, I move around a lot, and once I turn 18, I'm going to get a job, earn enough money to become a pilot. I'm going to go to space, find Shiro, and once I do we are never coming back to this hunk of rock we call earth"

"why don't you just stay with Jess, she seems nice, I'm sure she'll help you with your space dream!"

Keith scoffed at this "because I've heard her and her husband talking. They think i'm deaf, i'm not. If they have their way I'll be across the country by the end of the week."

"then you can live with my family!"

"What?"
"Yeah! This'll be great! I want to become a pilot too! We can go to school together and my mom won't mind since my sister just moved out we have the space! I'll get to see you every day, and if we live in the same house you can't run away from-"
"Lance, I can't just move in with you"
"And why not?"
"Because, umm I just said no"
"Please!!!!"
"No"
"Please"
"No"
This went on for quite a while- a few hours at least, and finally Keith had had enough.
"FINE"
"Yes" Lance started smirking at Keith in triumph.
"I'll go get my stuff"
"I'll help!"
"Fine"
"Oh and Keith?"
"Hmm?"
"Never underestimate how annoying I can be"
"Point taken"

Okay I know the ending of this chapter is in fact different than it was, but for some reason the last bit of this chapter didn't save properly and got deleted so I had to rewrite it and I forgot exactly what I wrote sooooo yeah... thanks for reading umm remember to vote and comment I am always open to new ideas!
