Orbital lead Dawn to a room and showed her around the room. "This is the machine that has all the energy that give Kite the ability to use photon transformation."

Dawn looked at it curiously. "It's not going to hurt, right?"

"I don't think so." Orbital responded.

Dawn laid down on the machine and closes her eyes. Her body was then hooked up with a bunch of wires. "I want to go to the portal world when I'm done." Dawn mumbled as she drifted into a death sleep. She was being slowly injected with little green orbs.

"I-I don't know i-if master K-Kite will let you." Orbital nervously spoke. Dawn didn't respond because she was already out of it. "This will approximately take t-two hours. Once m-master  Kite is back, y-you can give him h-his number card." Orbital left the room and went back to meet up with Kite.

"None of the e-energy sources I've used w-will work o-on this pendant." Orbital explained to Kite.

"Try using a barian crystal." Kite calmly replied.

"Really?" Orbital questioned.

"You heard me. The barian crystal doesn't come from this world, it comes from the barian world. Its energy might active the pendant." Kite explained.

"G-great idea, but barian crystals are rare. I-I'm afraid finding one isn't going to b-be easy." Orbital explained.

"Use your crystal." Kite suggested.

"What!" Orbital said in shock. "But that's my energy source! I can't function without it."

"Loosing one small charge shouldn't be a problem." Kite noted.

"I-I guess not." Orbital pouted. "Here goes nothing." Orbital sighed as he opened himself up and took a small bright red crystal from his insides and placed it in a slot that was connected to the pendant. "I suppose loosing a tiny bit won't hurt." Orbital then moved the energy source closer to the pendant. When the energy sources collided, Dawn immediately woke up and rushed outside the room. She found the source of the bright light and headed towards it. When she ran into the room, Orbital gasped at how quickly she recovered from the process. Kite also had a slightly shocked expression on his face.

"D-Dawn? You can't be done! There's no way y-" Orbital shouted as he got cut off by Kite.

"Orbital, focus on making the portal stable enough to let me through." Kite shouted.

"R-right." Orbital said as he got to work.

Dawn ran over to Kite as he stood in front of the portal. "I'm coming with you."

"I don't think so." Kite scoffed.

"I don't take orders from you. I'm not some stupid robot." Dawn sassed back.

"Hey!" Orbital shouted.

Kite rolled his eyes and jumped into the portal. "Not without me." Dawn said to herself as she too, jumped in the portal. Both of them were transported inside Astral world.

"Could this be Astral world?" Kite said to himself. A few seconds later, Dawn popped in next to him.

"Hey, what's that?" Dawn asked as she pointed to a ship in the distance.

"I have a hunch that it's where Astral is." Kite calmly replied. The two of them flew over to the ship and looked for a way inside. Once they found a way in, Kite approached Astral. Dawn slowly followed behind him.

"Well, we meet at last." Kite said to Astral. "You must be the visitor from Astral world."

"I should have guessed it was you Kite." Astral responded in a slight angry tone. His eyes then shifted towards Dawn. His eyes widen with shock. "Kite was the person you were talking about before?"

"Yes." Dawn replied with confidence and stepped in front of Kite.

"You actually talk to him?" Kite questioned. "That's probably the main reason why you wanted to come with me, isn't it."

"Well, you aren't wrong." Dawn replied.

"All questions aside, I still don't know how you know my name." Kite asked Astral.

"We were opponents in a duel once." Astral explained.

"It was the same duel that you saw me in." Dawn added.

"Oh I remember now." Kite responded. "I don't see why you'd want to team up with a twerp like Yuma Tsukamo."

Dawn gave Kite a ticked off look. "Can you not diss my brother?'" Dawn mumbled under her breath.

"At least he is no thief." Astral responded. "Are you not the one who stole the golden key?"

"So that's what it's called." Kite says.

"You hunt numbers, why?" Astral asks.

"Why do you?" Kite snapped back.

"Because numbers are fragments of my memories." Astral responded.

"So, you need them to remember?" Kite asked.

"That is right. Now tell me, why do you hunt numbers? I deserve to know why." Astral demanded.

"Wow. Astral never gets this ticked off. I bet he can't even comprehend how much he doesn't like me anymore. I know I teamed up with Kite, but so what? I got what I wanted and Kite is going to get what he wants. Besides, Yuma and Astral are going to beat him in a duel eventually, so Astral will get to have his memories from the numbers that Kite has anyways." Dawn justified to herself.

"I want to learn the numbers secrets. And the secrets of Astral world and Barian world." Kite explained.

"Barian world huh." Dawn thought to herself.

"Barian world?" Astral questioned.

"The only way to see my plan fully is to collect all the number cards." Kite explained. "So I'm going to have to ask you to hand over all these number cards. And you too Dawn."

"Me?" Dawn questioned.

"If I did that, I would never regain my memories." Astral answered. He then looked at Dawn. "Why did you ask Dawn about number cards?"

"Because Astral, Dawn and I made a deal. I would help her regain her dueling abilities if she gave me her number card." Kite answered.

Astral flew over to Dawn. "You had a number card this entire time?" Astral asked in a angry tone.

Dawn turned her back towards Astral. "I know it looks bad, but I had to do what I had to do. I stopped dueling for the soul purpose to save my body's strength this I was strong enough for one hard duel. I knew the duel had to be special, so I waited for the perfect opportunity and that opportunity came to me when all of this number card businesses starting taking place. After Yuma's duel with Kite, I could feel that Kite was the one to allow me to duel." Dawn reasoned.

"So the only way you thought you could talk to Kite and make this deal was if you had a number card." Astral asked.

"Correct." Dawn agreed.

"Did you even care about me or Yuma's thoughts on this?" Astral asked.

Dawn turned back around the face Astral. "No."

"Looks like Dawn has changed sides with me now. I don't blame her." Kite smirked. "Now Dawn, I am curious about how your story ends, but I have a duel to win against Astral."

Astral eyes lowered at Dawn. "What is this feeling that I have towards Dawn. Is it anger? Sadness? Do I feel sorry for her? What do I feel?" Astral thought to himself.

Dawn sighed and let Kite take center stage. They all went to the top to the ship and Kite and Astral got in their dueling potions ready to duel it out.

"Let's duel!" Kite and Astral said in sync.
