Chapter 6. Ordered to change.

"Oi Sebastian! What you cooking I'm starvin'."

Sebastian and Mabel quickly stood away from each other and looked at the newcomer.

'Oh! That was the man from last night. The one whose soul I tried to eat.'

"Who's this?"

"This," Sebastian began," is Miss Mabel Gladstone and as of today she is the head maid here. And Mabel this is Bardroy our cook."

"Pleasure to meet you Bardroy you can call me Mabel. Miss Gladstone is just a bit of a mouthful."

"Hi- um WAIT A SECOND! You're the woman I saw last night! In my dream."

"Me? In your dream?! Surely you jest, I have no possible idea how that could ever happen as I have never seen you prior to today," Mabel said feigning surprise. She walked to the oven and took the tray of scones out. She smiled at how good they turned out and Sebastian took the tray from her as he started placing them on a plate.

"Ok... maybe it's just my 'ead. Anyway, Sebastian what's for breakfast? I'm 'ungry!" Bardroy demanded.

Sebastian sighed as he prepared the breakfast tray for the young lord. "You will have breakfast later." He sternly answered.

"Mabel please take this tray to the young master's room. I'm sure you remember where it is?"

"Of course Sebastian. Well then, bye for now you two~" the demoness sauntered off but not before sending Bardroy a flirtatious wink.

"Well ain't she a beauty. I'd reckon she'd be down in the east end if she weren't 'ere."

"That's enough of that Bard!"

"Alright alright!" The ex-soldier huffed. He silently muttered insults under his breath. However, to his dismay, the insults were heard by the butler as he swiftly turned around.

"What was that?" He asked with a 'I'm going to kill you' face.

"N-N-Nothing!!"

"...What was nothing." A sleepy voice asked.

The two men looked at the doorway to see the maid and gardener - Finny and Mey-Rin - walk into the kitchen.

"Oh Mey-Rin, Finny it's just you." Bard sighed in relief.

"We were woken up by a scream, yes we were."

"A scream?" Sebastian asked. His mind drifted to the difficult succubus he had sent off to deliver the tea. Surely no-

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

"Oh no!"

"That sounded like the master, yes it did!"

"What d'you think 'appened?"

Sebastian sighed. 'What has she done?' He quickly composed himself and looked at the servants with a reassuring smile," Don't worry. Leave this to me. I shall go and check out the source of the scream. You three are to stay down here until I come back or you are called."

And with that Sebastian headed off to the young master's bedroom. When he reached the door he should hear shuffling from behind it. Then he heard a startled voice yell," Stay back you monster! O-or I will kill you!!" Sebastian decided it was time to intervene.

He opened the door and saw Ciel lying on his back on the floor. In his hands was the gun he kept in his bedside drawer, pointed at the chest of Mabel Gladstone who had pinned him to the carpet. At the sound of the door opening, two sky blue orbs shot towards the butler and a commanding voice shrieked," Sebastian get her off me NOW!!"
