It had now been a week since Mabel Gladstone had been working at the manor and through her ups and downs she had grown to become quite a skilled servant, almost on par with the infamous Phantomhive butler as well. At this very moment in time the head butler and maid were now waking the master up.

"Young master, it's time to wake up." Sebastian whispered gently as he drew the curtains open, allowing small rays of light to seep through.

"Come on young master you've got quite the busy day today and you don't want to end up being behind schedule." Mabel urged as she set the tray of tea down on the bedside table. She opened the first drawer and found Ciel's eyepatch. After continuous nudging the boy finally slumped against his pillows and allowed the maid to fasten his eyepatch on.

"What's on my schedule today Sebastian?"

"Well Young master, this morning we are going to London today to pick up a few things including that new walking cane you've been meaning to get. Then once we return to the manor you will have a dance lesson with Mabel and I as your tutors before you have an afternoon visit with Lady Elizabeth."

Ciel immediately spat out his tea and looked at Sebastian in utter disbelief and horror. "Lizzy's coming?!" He asked with such distaste.

"Yes so you'd better finish you're breakfast so we can start the day a bit earlier. After all, Lady Elizabeth is one to arrive early or 'off schedule'." Sebastian took the teacup from Ciel and began dressing him.

"For some reason I don't think I'm going to like this 'Lizzy'. What even is she to you? I'd heard all your family died in a fire."

"Lady Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford is the young master's betrothed of several years."

"Ha!" She pointed accusingly at the boy in question." And you say I should have shame! How can you have a betrothed when you're only just a kid? You probably even don't know what happens on the wedding night! Say, I'll bet you haven't even had the birds and the bees talk yet! And you're already betrothed!"

"Can we please stop discussing me being betrothed and besides it's common in this day and era for children my age to be betrothed so shut it." Ciel sent a deadpan look her way as he put on his winter coat. "Now, moving on. I want you two to get everything done as quickly as possible. Who knows when she's going to arrive."

"Yes, my lord."

"Yes, Young master."

The master-servant trio quickly bolted out of the manor and made their way to London. Once they got off Sebastian and Mabel followed Ciel to a shop that sold canes. After purchasing a small enough cane Ciel ran back to the comfort of the carriage and told Sebastian and Mabel to buy the rest of the things and return to him quickly. The two servants bowed and off they went.

"Say, Sebastian," Mabel began while gazing around at all the different shops." Do you fancy having a little competition between the two of us?"

"A competition? What did you have in mind?" He asked intrigued by her sudden suggestion.

"Well it's more like a race. Let's split the list of items to buy and let's see who can buy them the quickest. The winner will be the first one at the meeting place."

"I'm okay with that. Where do we have to meet?"

"Hmmm," The auburn haired woman held her chin as she looked in thought. Then her eyes were glued to a very cosy looking café." There! At the café."

Mabel was about to speed off when Sebastian grabbed her by the collar." Not so fast Mabel, what does the winner get?"

"The winner gets to have the loser in their servitude for a whole day." Mabel instantly regretted saying that.' Great now I have to win!'
