It's the very last day of school before the summer holidays and you cannot wait to finally be let free. At the same time, though, you don't want the semester to end. This means that there will only be a week till you move across the country.

"It's sort of an ambivalent feeling," you mutter, not taking your eyes off of the screen in front of the teacher's desk. You're watching a boring documentary in history and sit at the very back of the room, as always, with your boyfriend. You have pulled the chairs together so you could lean half of your back against his chest and rest the back of your head on his shoulder. His right arm is around you and you play with his fingers.

"I am glad school is ending but I have to leave you," you continue. You can feel him giggling through his chest's bumpy movements.

"It's not like we'll never see each other again," he replies, "Don't worry so much. I will be with you soon enough. Next year is our last and then it's time for college."

You think about the future once again. That's all you seem to have been able to do lately. Imagining different scenarios regarding your life ahead. You could go to Seoul and stay in school. This would likely end in a nice education and a stable future. However, there is also the possibility of you and Younghyun growing apart, resulting in a breakup, which would be the worst case scenario. On the other hand, you may end up with him and have your happy ever after.

"Hey," he mumbles and pulls you out of your daze. "We will be fine. As long as I don't find anyone prettier, at least."

You elbow him and he lets out a weird sound, gaining the attention of your classmates just as the bell rings.

"You know how I feel. I wouldn't trade you for the world."

A fuzzy feeling spread throughout your body and your tummy twists as you get up. He is able to make you feel like a mess with his mere words. How he got past the point no one else could still puzzles you. He cracked the code no one else could.

"Ready to get out of here?" he asks and offers you his hand. As usual, you simply offer him an eye roll and pass by. With him following close behind, you make your way to the parking lot. But something isn't quite right.

"Where is the bike?" you ask and turn around to face a smiling Younghyun. As he gets closer you grimace at him.

"I thought it would be nice to walk my beautiful girlfriend home for once." He steals a short kiss before grabbing your hand, intertwining your fingers, and heading off in the direction of your house. You must admit it felt nice and that you really like his way of being. But he can of course never know that.

"You're so annoying," you sigh and you leave the school grounds for the last time.

"So," he suddenly says as you reach your house. "What does my stunning girlfriend want to do in her last week? We have to make it special, and memorable, now that you are leaving me."

"Jesus, you make it sound like one of us is gonna die."

"It's nearly the same thing."

"Hey!" you punch his arm.

"I'm serious. I need to make the last time with you memorable or else I will die," he says and dramatically clutches his chest and falls to his knees.

"You're such an embarrassment. Get up."

"I can't. Not. Without," he hoarsely lets out as if he was about to pass out and falls down on his back, "A true love's kiss."

You stare at him with crossed arms for a good while. He is lying with his eyes closed and arms and legs wide spread on the sidewalk leading to your house.

"Yah, get up," you repeat. He doesn't reply. "If you don't, I really will kill you," you threaten but there is still no answer. "Whatever," you eventually give up and head inside.

You go around the house, primarily consisting of boxes at this point, packing a little here and there, till your dad gets home.

"Hey, dad."

"Hey, uh. Why is Younghyun lying on the sidewalk outside? Is he alright? Did you punch him unconscious again?" he asks with furrowed brows.

"Oh my God, is he still out there? It has been more than two hours!" Your eyes go wide and you check through a window. And sure enough, he hasn't moved an inch. "Why the hell is he so persistent?" you mumble to yourself and open the door.

"Yah! Kang Younghyun! Get your stupid ass inside before you get a cold and pass it on to me." Nothing. "Yah!" Still nothing. "Ugh. Why does he have to be like this?" you finally ask yourself and head down to where the pathway to your house meets the sidewalk.

"Kang Younghyun," you try again. You poke him with your foot. "Are you dead?" You grow a little worried. "Don't think you are gonna win, you won't."

You spend a good ten minutes just staring at him. "For heaven's sake," you mutter underneath your breath and sit down on your knees. You cup his cold face with your warm hands, lean down and peck his lips. But before you get the chance to get back up, you feel a pair of arms around you, holding you down, forcing you to stay in touch with his body. Your hands move down to his chest and rest there for a while before you ultimately push yourself away. An enormous grin is smeared across his face.

"Finally. I have waited for my princess for what seemed like an eternity."

"Oh, can you just stop being so cheesy? It makes me sick." He laughs.

"Now, can we go inside? It may be hot out, but these stones are freezing."

A/N: Sorry this was so short and kinda bad. I didn't have any ideas really but felt like I needed some sort of "transition" so yeah. This is what you get. It is more of a short, individual story rather than an important addition to the story as a whole.

Anyway, I hope you like it. Please look forward to the next chapter also! I work on it as often as possible!
