"You wish."
You continue down the street and roll your eyes. It only takes a moment before his vociferous call roars again.
"You never get tired of walking home?"
You don't even stop to reply.
"No."
The sound of an engine getting turned off resonates and soon enough a hand on your upper arm turns you around. You are, once again, face to face with the most ravishing guy your eyes have ever been laid upon. Even when he's frowning he's attractive.
"I have legs," you explain as if he hadn't noticed.
"Shut up." His face is crooked into a rather agitated scowl.
You do as asked with a pondering stare while biting your lower lip. It is the first time you have seen him like this. Annoyed. Frustrated. And you like it.
"Why are you like this? Don't you see how crazy I am about you? Are you really that oblivious? I wanted to have a clean start here, away from the rebellious life, away from the bad reputation to show that I am capable of something different than just cocky remarks," he blurts out in one breath.
He sees you. He had been looking this whole time, but he didn't really see you until now. He pushes you against the tall, convenient wooden fence, protecting someone's precious garden, trapping you between his arms, and continues.
"But, you," he snorts. "You just had to go and ruin it all with your cheeky and annoyingly attractive attitude. But you refused to take me as I was. And even now you reject me. You have me running after you like some puppy in love, and you still reject me? What else do you want fr-"
You cut him off mid-sentence by wrapping your arms around his neck and crashing your lips against his. He doesn't even need a second to readjust to the new interaction. He surrenders immediately and places his hands on your hips. You press yourself against him, your lips working hard and hearts competing to beat faster than the other.
He swiftly moves his right hand down your thigh, motioning for you to jump. So you do. And wrap your legs around his torso while he pushes you against the fence again for support. One of your hands finds its way to his hair and your fingers tug on it a little. A short while later, you pull back, completely out of breath and leaving him craving for more. He breathes heavily into the crook of your neck and you smirk.
"Happy?" you teasingly whisper in his ear.
He kisses your neck and you giggle.
"Yah. Let me down."
After a brief moment of hesitation, he does as he's told and your feet soon hit the pavement again. However, he doesn't let go of you though you move your hands down his chest. You look up into his dark eyes.
"So how about that ride?"
You grin at his request and push him away. He watches you grab the bag you dropped on the cement path and walk towards his bike. You pick up the spare helmet and look in his direction.
"Are you coming?"
. . .
Upon arriving at your house, you feel a sudden disappointment well up inside. You somehow don't want it to end. You try to think up and excuse to make him stay without him thinking he's in control.
"Thanks," you say as you return the helmet and run a hand through your hair. He smiles at you with an adoring look in his eyes.
"Anytime."
You suddenly hear your name being called in the distance. You turn your attention in the direction of your home.
"I gotta go," you say and he mumbles something you don't quite catch.
But before you leave, you get close and your lips connect once again. This time, in a less rough but equally as passionate kiss. You don't want to go. At all. But you fight the urge to continue and take a step back, winking at him, and shuffle inside the house.
