Aizawa held his breath as he looked out across the room full of people. He had Hizashi's friend at his side, trying to get his attention. Aizawa was too drunk to know exactly what was happening. He blinked his eyes, his face flushed red and his eyes glossy. He couldn't even stay upright, his knees wobbled and trembled. He looked at Hizashi's friend and realized she was signalling someone over.
Suddenly Hizashi was by his side and he blinked, his heart racing.
" 'Zashi?" Aizawa slurred and held onto the top of the bar. Hizashi's friend started to talk, explaining why Aizawa had come.

The blonde looked down at him with worry.
Hizashi refused to leave Aizawa like this, knowing how out Aizawa was.
Hizashi took Aizawa's hand and looked him in the eyes.
"Shō, I'm taking you home." Hizashi said.
"Hizashi! Come on he's fine." It was the guy from the movies. The one Aizawa had seen in the car.
Aizawa glanced at him, and then at Hizashi.
"Does he look fine? He can't even stand." Hizashi protested.
"You belong here with me." The guy urged again and stepped closer, pushing Aizawa out of the way between the two.
Aizawa looked over after he caught himself and saw the uncomfort in Hizashi's face as the man tried to lean in closer for a kiss. He felt sick, he was enraged. With blind anger he stepped between the two and put his hands on the others shoulders.
"He doesn't want you." Aizawa said, trying to act sober.
Suddenly the man got closer and he seemed to stand taller.
"Back off freak, or you'll be in the gutters. The other hissed. Aizawa laughed. It was his real laugh. His laugh was more high pitched and more of a giggle. He'd ways thought it was ugly but he'd heard different.
"You think I'm joking?" The man hissed.
Aizawa laughed again and let go of the mans shoulders, wiping the small tears away from his eyes.
"N-no." Aizawa said with stiffed laughter. He knew he might get his ass kicked but it's better than letting someone take advantage of Hizashi.

The man growled and Hizashi took Aizawa's hand gently.
He pulled Aizawa away and lead him through the crowd.
Music blasted, and people bounced back and fourth. Aizawa looked at Hizashi, who guided him carefully. He inhaled sharply and squeezed Hizashi's hand. He wouldn't survive like this with Hizashi.
He closed his eyes to calm himself from the strobes. He felt a speration for a second, Hizashi's hand had left his. Then the hand was replaced by another and Aizawa was dragged in another direction.
He heard his name being called and he felt fear engulf him as he turned to see who was dragging him. He couldn't see. Everything was too wavy. He heard the music get distant and he started to struggle.
"Hizashi!" He called out, his words slurred. He couldn't see Hizashi, or at all. He felt more force and he tried activating his quirk. His hair flew up and he tried writhing himself out of the others hands.

He growled and his skin got hot. He was angry he could hardly see, his heart racing as he struggled against the grip of someone else ripping him away from the crowd. He felt another tug oh his clothes and a kick to the leg. He gritted his teeth and turned around swiftly, bringing his leg up and kicking the man in the side of the head. He heard the crack as he let his leg drop and he was released. As his leg fell, he fell back. There was another crack, and this time it came from the back of his head. He felt his vision fade and he groaned in pain. He lifted his arms and started to drag himself away the best he could, closing his eyes to relax his mind.
"Hhi..zashi!" He urged out and felt his limbs weaken. His heart stopped racing and he opened his eyes as far as he could, knowing he might never wake up. He clenched his teeth when he felt a hand against his leg and curse. He felt his body drag back but he couldn't do much to stop it now that his limbs were letting go and he couldn't keep his eyes open long enough to activate his quirk. Filled with pain and fear, he let his eyes close and his body go limp. His mind shut off and he was out cold.

He woke up later in the night, around 4:00 am. He felt immense pain when he opened his eyes, his head throbbing. He felt sick. He groaned and rolled over, closing his eyes as he tried to catch his memories. His heart froze though. He felt his face land against something warm. He then realized he didn't know where he was. He felt the platform against his cheek shuddering and once he cleared his head, he could hear stifled sobs.
He opened his eyes and sat up slowly. He looked down, his heart pounding as he saw Hizashi. Hizashi was crying.
He felt ultimate guilt and fear fill him when Hizashi looked back to make eye contact. Hizashi was scared too.
"I-I'm sorry I woke you up-!" Hizashi said quickly and moved to get out of the bed.
Aizawa blinked and looked at him. He was dressed in one of Aizawa's shirts and a pair of Pajama pants, leading Aizawa to believe they were at his house.
"Wait!" He said and groaned at the pain that jabbed at his head. No yelling.
Hizashi stopped with tense shoulders and didn't turn around to look at Aizawa.
"Do you n-need anything?" Hizashi sniffed, hiccuping through his words.
Aizawa looked at Hizashi. He had a weak figure. He wasn't happy. Something was wrong.
"Could you come here?" Aizawa asked as soft as he could, trying to coax Hizashi back to his side.
Hizashi paused and turned around slowly.
"I.." Hizashi began to speak before the tears came pouring down his face.
Aizawa felt tears tug at his own eyes and he forced himself to stand up.
He held in noises of pain and limped to Hizashi's side. He opened his arms for Hizashi, and the blonde accepted. Hizashi rested his face against Aizawa's shoulder and sobbed.
Aizawa felt his heart being ripped out of his chest as he heard Hizashi crying so desperately. He'd never heard Hizashi cry like this.

Aizawa gently cupped Hizashi's cheek and caressed his thumb against the others raw skin.
"Hizashi it's okay." Aizawa said softly and rubbed Hizashi's back with his open hand.
The affection didn't stop Hizashi's sobs.
So Aizawa stood there and let Hizashi cry, coddling him with all the platonic affection he could give.
He did this until Hizashi was weak. He let Hizashi put his weight down and held Hizashi up even though he felt like he could puke from the pain.
"I don't want to be with him anymore." Hizashi sniffed and closed his eyes as he started to dehydrate.
Aizawa paused and looked up at Hizashi.
"What is he doing to you?" Aizawa asked quietly. Aizawa saw the shame fill Hizashi's eyes.
He felt fear at the shores of his minnd as Hizashi lifted his own shirt over his head to show the bruises on his body. They were dark purple. Aizawa knew Hizashi didn't bruise easy. It was something Hizashi bragged about to his friends because he hardly showed struggle in battles.
Aizawa paused and held his breath. He counted 12 bruises on his front and 6 on his back.
Aizawa looked at Hizashi and saw the pain in his face as Hizashi examined his own body with disgust.
He was furious. He gently wrapped Hizashi in his arms and squeezed him carefully.
"You're not going to see him anymore." Aizawa said and cupped Hizashi's cheeks, looking into his eyes.
"I'll keep you safe." Aizawa promised. Hizashi blinked back tears.
"He's the one that was trying to take you at the bar, when we got separated." Hizashi whispered.
"If I wasn't shitfaced I could have stopped him." Aizawa said and detected the worry in Hizashi's gaze.
"Hizashi.. I can't let you be hurt anymore. You think I don't feel bad about leaving? I think about you every night even though I don't want to. I hope every night that you're safe and you're happy. And now, seeing you here. It defies every one of my hopes for you." Aizawa poured his feelings out, holding Hizashi close.
"You deserve so much better. I want nothing more than for you to be happy." Aizawa added and tears streamed down his face.

Hizashi hugged Aizawa tight and lifted his head, connecting his lips with Aizawa's gently. It caught Aizawa off guard at first, feeling the same sparks he'd always felt when they kissed months ago. Aizawa took advantage of his moment and kissed back, holding Hizashi close.
He felt the overwhelming joy rushed through him and he parted from Hizashi's lips, giggling uncontrollably. He smiled when Hizashi started to laugh too. They laughed together and shared affections they had both missed so much in a flurry, high on one another's loving touches and apologies.
