Day Fifteen

Mysterious Girl's POV

I finally made it! When I sneaked past his vassals, I went through his throne room and to his room where I thought they would be, and just as I thought, they were there. I got there just in time, too. I was supposed to be quiet, but when he brushed her bangs aside, I couldn't help but say something. "Aww! Cute! You love her~."

He jumped, startled by my speaking out of know where. I giggled softly. He looked at me in confusion, but that confusion soon turned into annoyance and anger. "W-Who the hell are you?! And how did you pass my vassals?" He frowned.

I giggled, walking over with hands behind my back and grinning. "You're silly~. I'm sneaky~! I'm a ninja of the night!" I brought my hands in front of my face, doing a cool ninja pose I saw in a ninja anime. "Nin, nin~." I watched him sweat drop, probably thinking of how cool I looked.

"Who the hell are you? Tell me, or I'll have to kill you." He glared at me and brought out his sword from his red scarf.

I pouted. "You don't have to say that. I'll tell you my name, but first, you have to agree to let me stay here as long as I need to."

His expression changed from glaring to shocked and surprised. "Why would you want to stay here at my castle, girl?"

I smiled. "That's for me to know, and you to figure out~."

"Tsk, fine. Now tell me your name."

I danced in my head in victory. "My name is Viola the Great Ninja!" I giggled, seeing his dumbstruck face. I was going to say more, but a demon with white hair walked in, ignoring me and handing Laharl what I figured was the cure...I was glad I got there in time. I walked closer to the bed, watching Laharl give Kira the cure from a small bottle. I kind of cringed, knowing it would be nasty for her. I felt bad, but at least it'd make her feel better.

Kira's POV

I fainted right in front of Flonne. Great. Of course, she'd be worried and rush to Kayla, which would worry everyone else...I hate worrying everyone. What the-? Why did I suddenly taste something very disgusting in my mouth? Oh, man! I felt like I was going to be sick. I sat up coughing and trying really hard not to puke it up. It probably was the cure they were supposed to be making since the taste was just as bad as it had sounded.

"Kira!" I blinked, hearing Laharl saying my name. I looked at him in surprise. "A-Are you okay?" I actually felt a bit better. I didn't feel like I was weak or anything, just sick from that nasty stuff. I nodded my head, showing him I was okay. He sighed, slumping his shoulders. Was he...worried about me the whole time? I smiled brightly.

"W-What are you smiling about?!" I silently giggled, covering my mouth even though it wouldn't do me any good. Laharl looked at me and turned red, realizing what I was thinking. "D-Don't get me wrong! You're my vassal now, and I won't let any of my vassals die!" I didn't care what I did next, moving around so my feet would touch the floor. I leaned over and kissed Laharl's cheek, shocking him, Mao, who was still standing there, and some girl... I pulled away to see said girl with short blue hair, red eyes, and a unique outfit I'd never seen in the Netherworld.

She walked over to push the stoned Laharl aside, smiling brightly at me. "Hi! My name is Viola~." I smiled and being nice, I shook her hand. "Why won't you tell me your name? Are you mute or something?" I sweat dropped when Laharl yelled at Viola for saying that. He seemed pretty overprotective, and it was kind of cute seeing him actually showing his caring side. "You don't have to yell at me! You big jerk!" Viola huffed, annoyed and upset. I smacked Laharl's head and put my hands on my hips, scolding him by wagging my finger at him.

Around that time, Flonne, Etna, Kayla, Angela, and Sophie walked in, but Sis rushed over, ignoring Viola and hugging me tightly. I patted her on the back, comforting her. "Don't you EVER scare me like that again!" Kayla scolded me, smacking my head gently. I only giggled. That was when Kayla finally noticed Viola, confused about who she was. "Who are you?"

I gave Kayla a look telling her not to be rude. "I'm Viola!"

It was good to see everyone was fine now and not worried about me all the time. Everyone left except for Viola, who wanted to stay with me longer. I thought it was cute~.

Artina's POV

I told Valzy about Kira and Kayla, the two humans. He was quite interested in seeing them, but he had to stay put. I told him I would go visit Kira, and maybe if she was feeling better, I could bring her to meet him. I flew through Laharl's Netherworld and entered his castle to see how Kira had been. I was happy to find out that she was going to be fine. She seemed like a wonderful person as did her twin sister Kayla.

I landed on my feet, walking over to Kayla as she walked out of Laharl's room "Oh, hi Artina! Came by to see Kira?"

I nodded. "Yep, I was wondering how she's been doing since she took the cure?"

"She's doing fine, just annoyed that she has to stay in bed to rest."

I smiled. "I know how she feels. Valzy always wants me to stay put, especially in my condition."

Kayla frowned, tilting her head sideways. "What condition? Is it bad?"

I giggled. "No, I'm pregnant."

She was beyond shocked, her mouth hung wide open. "Seriously?!"

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'm serious."

"Congrats then! You can go see Kira if you want. She'll probably be happy to see you. Oh, and when you can...tell her I'll be with Koma."

I nodded. "Okay, be safe Kayla." I walked into Laharl's room to see Kira sitting up and stretching just when I entered. Talk about good timing. "Hi, Kira." When I stopped near her bed, she looked at me all happy. "I heard from Lady Archangel what happened while I was away." I watched her sign language, smiling. "That's good! I'm glad Laharl is getting to be kind to you...I wish you luck in telling him, as well..." I tilted my head when I saw her put some of her blonde hair behind her ear. I thought I was seeing things, but I pushed her hand away gently and looked closer at her ears. I was shocked at what I saw.

Kira's POV

When Artina just went up to me and touched my ear, it was very uncomfortable. She looked at me with worry and said to wait here, flying out of my room. I was confused as to why she was acting all worried, but when I went to scratch my ear, what I felt wasn't a normal ear...I felt my other ear, and it was the same. I took a deep breath in and out slowly, wishing I could speak so I could scream. Laharl, Kayla, and Artina rush into the room. Laharl looked at my ears as well, tsking and growling.

"Why is this happening to my sister? I thought Pandora only cursed her so she wouldn't speak?" Kayla asked. I mentally gulped.

Artina looked at me with a frown. "Kira...I'm sorry, but I have to tell them." I shook my head no, my eyes widening in fear.

"What do you mean Artina? What's going on with my sister?"

Artina sighed softly and looked at me sadly, hands clasped together in front of her chest. "...Pandora didn't just curse her with no voice...The curse was to take her humanity. So far she lost her voice, but afterward, she lost the will to feel anything, no fire or anything that hurts her. She can't feel, and she cannot sleep."

"What?!" Both Artina and I flinched when Kayla and Laharl yelled out, the sound echoing throughout Laharl's castle. "You're telling us...that my sister is losing her humanity?! And now for some reason, she's turning into a demon?! That's it! I'm going to hunt that bitch Pandora down and kick her ass!" Artina chased Kayla, trying to calm her down as she storm out of Laharl's and my room.

I looked at Laharl, who was staring down at his feet with his hands clenched in tight fists. I felt bad for not telling him, so I pushed the covers off of my legs and got on my knees on the bed, leaning over to grab both of his hands. I brought them together so I could hold them in mine. I looked at him with a smile, showing him I'm okay...and that I was going to kick Pandora's ass when I found her.
