Sal Fisher sat staring upwards at the ceiling on his bed. His prosthetic was off and he was on the edge of tears. He had been through a lot, what with Travis, the bologna, Mrs. Packerton, and the cult. He's just a kid he shouldn't have to do this shit. The door swung open,
"Sally? what are you doing in here?" His dad asked turning on the light.
"Jesus dad!" Sal exclaimed as he sat up and reached for his prosthetic. "You ever heard of knocking?"
Henry snickered and walked towards Sal. "Lisa invited us over for dinner, do you wanna go?"
"Dad I have dinner with them like every night, they invited you to dinner, I was planning to go anyway." They looked at one another for an awkward second before Sal walked out of his room and into the elevator. When he got down to the basement he didn't even knock on Larry's door, he didn't really need to anymore, Larry and Sal were so close and it never bothered Lisa if Sal just went right in.
"Eyy Sally, my dude!" Larry nearly yelled as he strode towards Sal. they did a quick bro hug before Sally sat down on the couch. "My moms making her famous lasagna, its gonna be dope as fuck," Larry said sitting with sal.
"LANGUAGE LARRY" Lisa yelled. Lisa then turned her attention to Henry and Sal, "Hello! How are you two today?" she said in a tender voice. Henry pulled Lisa into an awkward hug while Sal and Larry just kinda sat there and stared.
"Did your dad just hug my mom?" Larry whispered to Sally.
"Yeah dude, I think so," Sal whispered back before they both burst out laughing.
Travis was in his room, door locked, on his knees praying. He was crying so hard it stung his cheeks.
"Forgive me, Lord. Oh please forgive me," he wept aloud.
"Travis!" he could hear his dad yell from behind the door. There was a large bang on the door before Travis wiped the blood from his lip and the tears from his eyes to stand up and answer the door. "Get out here for dinner." His dad finished promptly.
"O-okay dad," Travis' arm was pressed against the door, he slowly opened it and moved out. His heart was thumping but he walked down the stairs calmly and sat at the dinner table across from his father. He was too much to hear his father ask about his day at school.
"Travis, are you going deaf? I asked you a question and you should answer me," the stern man stated.
"Oh, um. Yeah, my day was fine I guess," Travis replied trying to hold the whimpers from crying out of his voice.
"You know son, you 18 now, you should find an interest in a female. Say, do you have one?"
Travis stayed silent for a moment and tried to slow his breathing before speaking. "I uh, no, not really." He finally managed to say.
"Find one Travis. You don't want to be alone,"
"You're alone." Travis blurted. He immediately felt his breathing hitch and his heart skip a beat as his father banged a hand on the table. "D-dad I'm sorry I-I didn't mean it," He tried to explain but his father harshly put a fist around his sons arm and squeezed his wrist hard. Travis put his other arm up to try and block his father from hitting his face again but the man managed to get ahold of Travis' neck, choking him. He tried to speak but couldn't, his oxygen was running out and tears finally escaped his eyes.
"DONT YOU EVER TALK BACK TO ME AGAIN TRAVIS PHELPS YOU HEAR ME? DO YOU HEAR ME YOU FUCKING FAGGOT?" The man screamed. All Travis could do was nod as he gasped for air. Finally, his father let him go before punching Travis in the eye again, directly on the bruise causing him to yell out. Travis was left there, a mess on the floor sobbing and gasping for air to fill his lungs. his eye stung so badly he couldn't even cry out of it. He weakly attempted to stand up and made it to his room. He locked the door behind him again and fell backward onto his bed.
Alright my bros. I'm sorry that was shitty. I'm gonna get another part out soon because I've got nothing better to do. But for now have a good day!
