Today was a very special day to me. I was going to visit the college for what I'm trying to apply. Even though, I hadn't had the money yet, I was totally sure, I would go to that college. I turned around, when I heard the door opening. "Where you going?" I secretly rolled my eyes. "To E.C.A."
I waited for an answer, but it wasn't what I expected. "You can't, you're taking your sister to the dentist to day. I have an appointment with one of my customers."
"What about Tyrese and dad?" I impatiently asked. She crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Tyrese is helping a friend with his car and your father is at work. Girl when I'm telling you to do something, you don't argue! You better obey! Lazy ass." And now she insulted me again. I was so pissed, but I couldn't let my anger out on her. I didn't want to get my arm broken.
"This day is very important to me. If I won't go today, I will have to wait for a long time." She sighed, "I don't care! I don't want you go to that school anyway. You even ain't got money." I was about to cry, I felt how my sight started to become blurry. I blinked and tears rolled down my cheeks. "C'mon. How old are you? You talkin' about college, but you behave like someone in pre-school!"
When my mother left, I took Rue to the dentist. We had to wait so long, I was hoping to get out earlier, so I had time left, to go to the dentist. If Jess was at home, I would've asked her to do this, but she was visiting her dad, who lived a few towns away.
I took Rue by the hand, and passed the street. "I'm hungry."
"And I have no money." I spit. She began to groan, and I pulled her closer, "Listen, don't get on my god damn nerves okay? Do you think I wanted to go to the dentist with you? I should've let you go by yourself! And I wouldn't care if you got lost on the way to the dentist!" Okay I was kinda too harsh now. "Leticia, don't be to harsh to her." I turned around and found Harry in front of me. I swallowed the lump in my throat, "Oh hay Harry." I uttered. Now he appeared on the at least expected day. "Hi. Why are you so mean to her?" He wanted to know. "She's a beast.. well my mother." I nervously laughed, and looked to my sister, who was holding my hand and hid behind me. He stooped down, to get to the same eye level as Rue.
"Hello cutie pie. What's your name?" Rue shied away, which I can really relate to. Harry was so freaking cute, when he talked like that. It took my sister a little moment, until she answered. "Rue." She almost whispered. Now I really noticed how cute she was, with her her three pick tails and her missing tooth. "That's a really cute name. I'm Harry." She was shier than before. "It's okay Rue, he's nice." I said and our eyes met. "So.. what's up to you?" He wanted to know. "I brought Rue to the dentist. I actually wanted to go to the E.C.A for an visitation, but I guess I have to wait again. This school is really busy."
"Really? That was a really bad timing. Maybe you should try your best and ask for a new visitation.." I nodded. "I hope I will get a chance. I really want to know how this school is, before really applying to it." He smiled, which made my heart skip a beat. "I bet you're pretty smart." He winked, which was teasing me!
My sister interrupted us, as she became whiny again. "I'm hungry Tish. I wanna eat." rolled my eyes. I looked over to Harry, who pulled an apple out of his pocket. "I was keeping it fo my dog actually.." He admitted, "She's crazy about it, but I think you want it even more." A big smile played on her lips, "Tank you. I love apples." It was a really sweet gesture of i, which I really never expected. "You're too cute Rue. Because of you, my wish to have a children one day, grew a lot." I smiled, "You're not far away from it.." I told, which I kind of regretted. "I bet you would be a good father." I quickly added. "Thank you." He awkwardly thanked. I don't know if I was stupid or just had a big mouth, but why would I remind him of that? Why would I remind myself? "For a white guy, you're nice." I looked down to Rue, who innocently bit in apple. I squeezed her hand tight, which made her squeak. I was so embarrassed. "I- I'm so sorry she-"
"It's okay." Harry laughed. "No it wasn't. It was racist." I looked to my sister again, who had tears in her eyes. "Apologize to him." I said and she did. You didn't have to darling. It's okay." I knew that something in him was kind of hurt, about the statement Rue made. "Well ladies, I really have to go now. I promised my dad to go to the golf club with him." Golfing, this is what rich people do. "Oh okay. Have fun."He gave me one more smile, and then he walked off. It me a time,to realize, that I just had a second conversation with Harry Styles. I knew, that I wanted to talk to him mo often, but a little more about each next time. If Rue wasn't here.. I guess Harry really had eyes for her. "Let's go you little racist crush thief."
When I was at home, I made Rue and I something to eat. asked Rue about her impression of Harry. "He's nice. I wish he could play with the doll house with me. He would be my great husband." She told, which made me gasp. "Rue, that's not what I wanted to hear from you." But it made me laugh. He would be a great husband. "You like him?" I realized a second later, that she just asked me that. If I would answer with yes, she would automatically think I had a thing for him, but if I said no, she would think I'm a bad person "He's very friendly. I would like to be friends with him."
"To kiss him?" Now I was speechless. "No Rue, just to hang out with him." She giggled, "Yeah.. in a fancy restaurant." I rolled my eyes. "Why do you always have to make a big deal out of it?" She was right though. I wanted him for kisses and dates, in fancy restaurants or at least somewhere, we would have a decent date.
