My eyes closed, my head fell, and my heart stopped. And I died. It wasn't painful. It just was.
Death is a misunderstood word. We associate it with sorrow and pain and hurt. In reality, death is not exactly what people make it out to be. But how would they know?
Death is sad, heartbreaking even, but to some, it's more than just a bad feeling. It's an experience. If someone dies, it shows that they had enough courage to let go of their life, their family and friends; everything that was dear to them. But it's a reward. You get to see those same people that you loved again, and you get to love them forever. The only pain is leaving some of those loved ones behind. But I will be waiting, with a smile on my face.
And I will never truly be lost to them. To her.
A lifetime doesn't last forever.
N/A - Guys! Since this chapter is really short, (sorry not sorry) I decided to write my own thing. So, this series is the one of the first ideas that I've really held on to. And because I love it so much I have decided to write and ENTIRE OTHER SERIES based on the same universe. The first book is called Numb, but I only have the prologue published. More will be coming later. But one thing I wanted to talk about was Alilo! You may be wondering what that is... cue epic ship name. Allegra and Milo are truly way too great for any of us. But I want to hear your opinions on the matter... all the things that I publish are literally first drafts, and I would love - and encourage - you to comment and be brutally honest because I need people like that if I'm ever going to get anywhere with this book. And judging by the fact that you're actually reading it would suggest that you want to hear more of it. Thanks so much for reading so far, and I promise to keep doing the best that I can. Please do me a favor and TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG because I promise that nothing I write is perfection. Thanks again!
