It was such a shock. That's why she looked so tired. That's why she looked so hot and flustered. She was pregnant. With James. I had to talk to her in the morning, so I went back downstairs and fell asleep.
When I saw her next morning she didn't eat, or drink. Just sat and watched us. I decided not to say anything, because she looked so tired. When she stood up I saw her stomach, and she gasped. I nodded an ok, and she breathed a sigh of relief. I signed to her how long and patted my stomach. She said 1 week left, and I nodded another ok. I felt so sorry for her. She must be so worried about everything. I finished my tea and toast, then went upstairs to shower.
That's when I heard her scream.
