April's POV
Don't you just hate people sometimes? Like Steve, Nat, and I were just minding our own business and then put plane malfunctions because of Mr. Douchebag Stark.
Do you know what sucks even more? Getting taken by this Shellhead and his sidekick, Spiderboy.
You might be wondering how this how happened. Let's back up a couple of hours.
Flashback of 3 hours ago
"So how long have you guys been official?" Nat asks, breaking the pleasant silence.
"Are you ever going to let this go?" Steve asks, rolling his eyes.
"Not until I get answers," she answers with a smirk.
"Steve and I only ju - "
Except I never got to finish my sentence. I was rudely interrupted by the plane making very loud noises. It started to shake.
"Prepare to make a sudden and very rough landing!" Natasha yells over the noise.
"No need," I say and open up a breach to the ground, "Let's get going!"
Natasha quickly runs to the back of the plane and we all jump through.
When we look up at the plane, we clearly see it's about to crash right into a skyscraper. More specifically, the previous Avengers Tower.
Why did we crash in New York?
"April! Can you breach the plane into an open area? Some place it won't cause catastrophic damage?" Steve asks in his stern mission voice.
"Like an ocean? Here comes the airplane Atlantis!" I say while I open a breach and buzz my lips like a motor.
April, you're a three-year-old.
We watch the plane go throw my huge breach and exhale in relief. Our relief didn't last long though, for we heard a particular sound coming from behind. Metal hitting the ground. We all turn to face, the fabulous, Mr. Tony Stark.
"Mr. Stark! It's so great to see you again!" I say knowing how awkward and tense things are about to get.
"Nice to see you to Grace. Oh wait, you're name isn't Grace, is it? So what should I call you? Nice powers by the way, impressive. How do you do it?" Tony asks.
"Steve I think it's time to go," Nat quietly says, "Could we get a hand?"
I nod and extend my hand to open a breach, but they are pulled together by a spider web?
Ah yes. The legendary Spider-Man to save the day! He seems to enjoy making an entrance judging by the number of flips he did before finally landing.
"What's up guys?" he says.
"I have to say, I agree with Romanoff. You'd better get going before things get messy," Tony says while charging a laser towards Steve.
I throw my hands up in the air hoping Natasha would know what I'm trying to signal. Luckily, she does and throws a knife to cut away the webbing.
I quickly make a breach to Washington DC. I figured I shouldn't send them directly to HQ just in case Spidey decided to follow.
They jump through just fast enough before Bug Boy could get in. If I didn't close the breach, who knows what could have happened.
"Look, I have nothing against you, Mr. Stark. I only stole an arm that you wouldn't have wanted anyway. Besides, you seem madder at me than the guy who crashed your plane on moving day, like Sticky Fingers here did," I say trying to defend myself.
