Kurt was still a bit worried as he climbed the stairs, but he focused on the good. He was going to finally talk to Ram, after all this time. He turned the corner to Rich's room and opened the door. He found Rich lying on his bed, seemingly asleep, and Ram sitting on the bed, fiddling with his jacket. And then he looked up, and he saw Kurt and Kurt saw his face for the first time in thirty years. He felt a flood of emotion rush through him and Ram stood up and hugged him and they stood there, hugging each other for who knows how long. "I missed you so much bro." Kurt hadn't realized he was crying until he saw the tears fall onto Ram's shoulder. "I missed you too" Ram hugged Kurt tighter before pulling away. Kurt felt a pang of disappointment. He wished the hug could've lasted forever. The feeling of seeing your best friend for the first time in years. It was a blissful feeling of happiness that you couldn't find anywhere else. Ram started fiddling with the buttons on his jacket while Kurt explained modern technology to him. "So what do we do now?" He asked when Kurt finished. "We could hang out here. Rich and Jake seem really nice, and I don't want to go back to that graveyard." Kurt proposed. Ram nodded in agreement and wordlessly pulled Kurt into another hug. Kurt was surprised but he hugged back, savoring the moment. After they pulled away yet again he took a look around the room. There was a picture of Rich and Jake together, and another picture of Rich with a ton of people about their age. A Bi pride poster hung in the wall. "I guess being gay isn't a bad thing anymore." Kurt mused our loud. Ram blushes and looked away. "What's wrong?" Kurt asked, worried."N-Nothing." Ram responded quietly. Kurt was about to ask more when Rich woke up. "Aagh!" He cried and rolled out of bed. "Oh, it's just Ram." he sighed. "It's this Kurt?" He asked, gesturing towards Kurt. "Yeah, that's me." Kurt replied.
He stared at Ram, wanting to ask him more but before he could, Rich called Jake. "Hey Jake, come check this out!" Kurt could hear Jake climbing the stairs and stood up, pulling Ram up with him. "Yeah, I knew about the ghost thing." Jake said casually. "You did?" Rich seemed surprised. "Oh, well anyways..." Kurt watched as Rich ran to hug Jake. He noticed Jake's subtle blush as he responded. "What was that for?" Jake asked. Rich's freckled face turned a vibrant shade of pink. "I just felt like hugging my best friend, okay?" he mumbled. "They're so gay for each other." Kurt murmured to Ram. He could swear Ram blushed again. "That's not a bad thing, right?" he whispered in Kurt's ear. "Of course not, I just think we should get them together." Kurt replied, nonchalant. Ram seemed to emanate relief at this, and Kurt wasn't sure why. "Oh, okay then." Ram sighed. After about an hour Rich and Jake decided that Ram and Kurt would stay, much to their relief, and that they would accompany them to school, since no one else could see them.

"Michael." called Jake, waving him over along with Jeremy. They took a seat at Jake and Rich's table, looking confused. "What's up?" asked Michael. "You usually don't invite us to sit here." Rich tilted his head to the side. God, he' so cute... thought Jake. Ack, no! Snap out of it. He scolded himself. "I thought that was a given" Rich said, confused. "I thought you didn't thit with us 'cauthe you wanted to have your couple time." Jeremy blushed. "We're not a couple..." he protested halfheartedly. Michael seemed almost disappointed at this. "Thure," Rich rolled his eyes and both Michael and Jeremy blushed. "Anyways," said Michael, changing the subject "Why did you call us here?" Jake gestured for Kurt and Ram and they came out from their hiding place around the corner. Michael gasped, and Jeremy looked like he was going to faint. In the LED lighting, it was much more obvious that they were ghosts. "G-ghost." stuttered Jeremy. "Yup." confirmed Ram. "We're ghosts." And that was when Jeremy did faint.
