Alarm Clocks and Pancakes

I heard the annoying buzz once again. I didn't feel like doing anything today. Since it was Saturday I don't know why my alarm clock was going off.

I pressed the off button many times but it wouldn't stop buzzing. I swiped it off my night stand onto the floor. It broke then I heard giggles in the corner of the room. I sat up and look towards where the giggles were coming from. It was 6 year old sister,Kylie. She saw me and started laughing. I got up an ran over to her. I picked her up and threw her on my bed. I started to tickle her and she was laughing so hard she almost kicked me. "Stop sissy stop!" She finally said. "Oh ok I'll stop. For now." I say looking at her deviously. She laughed and ran to my bathroom. I heard the lock. "This can't be good." I ran over to the bathroom. "Kylie,what are you doing?" I ask through the door. "Nothing just playing with your girlie stuff." "We'll if you unlock the door I can let you watch blues clues while I make you pancakes..." I said trailing off. I then heard a click and the door opened. "Okay." She ran downstairs before me. I looked into my bathroom. I saw all of my bobby pins and hair ties on the floor. I quickly cleaned it up and once done, I ran downstairs.

Kylie was already into the show. I saw my dad at the island. He was probably filling out some paperwork. He's a lawyer. "Good Morning sweetie." "Morning dad." I say taking out a pan. "What are you gonna make?" He asked. "Pancakes for everyone!" I yell. He laughs. "Shh Mia your mom is still sleeping." "Dad it's 10:00 am, she never sleeps this late." "Ok ok, she told me to tell you that but she's actually watching,don't tell her I told you,that show you watch about vampires..." "Vampire Diaries?!" I yell. "Shhh and ya that one." "Omg I taught mom so well." I say laughing. My dad laughs too. "Kylie, wanna help me with the batter?" I say. "Sure." She says. We all live in Orlando,Florida but Kylie is the only one that's sound like she's from New Jersey. I take out the eggs and pancake mix. I tell Kylie how to do it and what not and what to do. She gives me a cheesy smile and starts mixing away. I turn around to get plates and when I turn back around, Kylie's eating it. "Mia! Get that away from your sister." I crouch down next to her. "It's good hu?" I ask dipping my finger in. She nods. "Okay well I need these for the pancakes." I say laughing. "Okay." She says and gives it to me.

After breakfast the whole family wanted to go out. I changed into some white shorts and a black muscle tank. I fish tail braid my long mane of hair and grabbed my iPhone 5 and put it in my bag I put on my black converse. I walked downstairs to see everyone waiting for me. "Is everyone ready?" Asked my mom. "Ya." We all said. We walked outside and go into our white Toyota. We decided to go see a movie today. We watched Guardians of the Galaxy because Kylie claimed the raccoon was her boyfriend. I liked the tree. "Hey Mia can you go get popcorn before the movie starts?" "Ya." I got up and walked into the main lobby. I ordered a large popcorn. I received it from the lady and turned around to walk back tithe movie theatre, but a boy about 17,my age, stopped me. "Excuse me,are you a parking ticket? Cause you've got fine written all over you." He said smirking. I was about to say thank you but saw boys snickering in the corner. "You put the ass in class." I said and walked away. I then walked into the movie theater and began to watch the movie.

After the movie we all went to downtown and shopped. I got some converse and a few clothes from forever 21. I was going to enter Claire's to buy Kylie a birthday present.But someone stopped me. I looked up and saw the guy from the movie theater. "So now you're following me?"He asked amused. "In your dreams." I said. I walked into the store but he stopped me. "I never got your name." He said. "I never got yours." I say. "It's Matthew. Matthew Espinosa." He says. "Mines Mia,Mia Rose." I say mocking his tone. He chuckled then walked away.

We finally got home. I ran upstairs and started to study for my Biology test. My phone rang and it was my best friend Kate. "Hey Kaye what's up?" I ask. "Nothing but...there's this carnival going on tonight. Come with me?" "Ya sure I'll drive there." "Okay see you later." I hung up. Once I was done studying I drove to the Carnival.

*At the Carnival*

"So how you liking it?" Asked Kate. "It's fun." I said sipping on my coke. "Hey let's play the fish game." She yelled and dragged me over to the game. Kate went first. She lost. I laughed and she made me go. I was one my second ball when someone called me. I turned next to me and saw a boy. About my age,brown hair,brown eyes. Cute. "It's easier if you throw it under hand." He said showing me. "Thanks." I say. His method worked. I won a fish but have it to Kate. I turned to the guy and said thank you. "I'm Mia, by the way." I said. "I'm Shawn."
