Ditching and Sleepovers

Matthews POV

I woke up. Not in my bed. I turned to my left and saw Mia sleeping. Her hair was all over the pillow. I'd love to see this every morning. Stop! Matthew stop! I laid back down and just looked at Mia. She was waking up so I pretended to be asleep. I heard her sit up. She chuckled a little bit. That's when I "woke up". "Hey." I said. "Hi." She said. She looked at the time and it was 10:00 already. "Oh shit were late!" She said. "You know we could always ditch right?" I said. "So Mr.asshole is a bad boy?" She said looking at me and smiling. "I have my reputation." I said. "You hungry?" She asked. "Ya." "I'll make some eggs. Come?" She said putting on socks. "Ya." I said following her downstairs. I stopped in the middle of the hallway and saw a picture of Mia. "Is this you?" I asked. "Oh..ya when I was 6." She said laughing. Her laugh. I followed her downstairs. "Hey where are your parents?" I asked. "Working. My sisters at school. They won't come back till probably 5:00." She said cracking the eggs in a bowl. "Oh."

Mia's POV

Was it weird waking up and seeing Matthew in my bed? Yes. Did he look cute and funny sleeping? Yes. I served us some eggs. We sat at the island

and ate in a comfortable silence. Once we were done we both changed. We headed to the beach because it was hot today. We arrived and we set out our blanket and I sat on it. Matt took his shirt off and ran to the water. I laughed because he is such a child. I was wearing my bikini under my shorts and shirt. I went on my phone to see if I had any messages. None. "Come on Mia! We're at the beach!" Yelled Matt from the water. "Fine! I'm coming!" I yelled back. I took off my shirt and shorts. I ran to the water because the sand was hot. I finally got to the water and Matt pushed me in. It's wasn't that cold but it was still cold. I came up from underwater. "Your gonna pay for that Matthew!" I said. "Just say Matt Mia." He said laughing. I went to shore and grabbed my towel. I got a call from the police department. "Hello?" "Are you Mia rose? Daughter of Alexander and Cristina Rose?" "This is her." "We'll I'm so sorry to inform you this but your parents were in a car accident." She said. I froze. I didn't know what to do. "Hello?" She said. "I'm here." "The good news is that they are both out of surgery and recovering." "Thank you." I said. She hung up. I got changed and told Matt we had to go. Mia. What wrong?" I didn't listen to him. He grabbed my hand a turned me around. "Mia you can tell me." He said. "Fine! You want to know! My parents got into a car accident!" I screamed at him. He looked sorry. "I'm sorry Matt. I didn't mean to yell at you." I said walking to the car. "Where are we going?" He asked. "To pick up my sister from her school." I said. "Oh." Was all he said.

We finally arrived at Kylie's school. "You can stay here." I told Matt. "Okay." I got out the car and went to go look for her. I signed her out and walked back to my car. "What's going on?" She asked pulling back. "Mommy and daddy got into a car accidents. They got ouchies. We're gonna go see them okay." I said. "Okay." She said. I put her in the back of the car. "Sissy who's that?" She tried to whisper. "This is my friend from school Matthew." I said. Kylie blushed. "Hi." Said Matthew. Kylie laughed. On the way to the hospital Matthew played with her. He was really good with kids. We arrived and we got out the car. "I'm here to see Cristina and Alexander Rose." I said. "Room 304. 5th floor." Said the lady. We got to the floor number. I looked for room 304 and saw my parents in there. Me and Kylie walked in. Matt stayed outside. "Hi daddy!" Said Kylie. "Hi Kylie. Mia." Said my dad. My mom was still sleeping. "How are you guys doing?" I asked. "We're better. Thanks for coming." He said. "My friend is here with me. I'm going to take him home and I'll be right back." I said. Kylie followed me. "Matt. I have to take you home now." I said closing the door behind me. "Okay." He stood up and followed me out. I took Kylie to her babysitter. I got to Matt's house and I walked him to his door. "Thanks for letting sleepover. I'm sorry about your parents." He said. "Thanks and no problem." I said. "So when are you going to sleepover my house?" He said. "I don't when do you want me to?" I said. I was hoping he said today because I don't want to be home alone. "Today?" He asked. I smiled. "Okay." I said. I'll comeback later.

After about 5 hours at the hospital I came to Matt's house. I knocked on the door. An older boy answered. "Is Matthew here?" I asked. He smiled. "Matthew your girlfriends here!" He yelled. "She's not my girlfriend!" He yelled back. "Thanks." I said. "You know your really pretty." He said. "Thanks you." He leaned forward and I backed away. "Dylan! What the hell are you doing." I heard Matt.(A/N:Again I'm sure his family isn't like this. It's just a story.) "Sorry bro. Your friend here is just so damn attractive." He said. I blushed a little. "Perv!" Said Matt. He dragged me upstairs. I laughed. "Quite the brother you have." I said. "Sorry about that." "It's okay." I said. "So do you wanna watch a movie?" He asked. "Sure." I said.

"Purge or If I Stay?" He asked. "If I stay!" I yelled. "Fine." He said. I sat in his bed and he sat next to me. "I'm bored." He said. "Shhh! Watch the movie." I said. I got a text. It was Kate.

Katy:Guess who is coming to see you tomorrow?!

Mia:Who!

Katy:Cameron!

"Oh shit!" I yelled. "What?" Asked Matt. "My ex is coming tomorrow." "What's his name?" He asked. "Cameron." I said. "Cameron Dallas." I finished. "What so bad about that." He said. "We'll one he's my ex for a reason and that reason is because he abused me." I said. "I'll protect you. I won't let him ok." Said Matt holding my hand.

I squeezed his hand. "Thanks Matt." I said. We were getting sleepy so we decided to fall asleep. Cameron called me. "Hello?" "Hey babe! How you been." "I'm not your babe any ore fuck off Cameron!" I said. "Shut the hell up! Watch what's gonna happen tomorrow when I get there!" He said. He hung up and I was scared because I know what he is capable of. Matt hugged me and put his head on my shoulder. "I'm not going to let him lay a finger on you." He said. "I promise."
