POV:Annabeth

It's been a month since I lost my memories and I still can't remember a thing. At least now I've gotten into a schedule. On mondays Chiron teaches me about the gods (I know it's crazy, but they're real!) that stuff comes easily to me and Chiron says it has something to do with being a child of Athena. On Tuesday someone from my cabin helps me relearn how to sword fight and other things to do with battle strategy. On Wednesday I go and visit my dad and we look at my old stuff to see if I can get my memory back. Thursday's aren't much different either, looking at stuff from my past seeing if I remember and the rest of the week goes on like that.

The only thing I look forward to is being with Percy which is pretty much all of my free time, unlike with the others he just spends time with me instead of constantly wondering about the old me and if she's back yet. Although I can tell it hurts him that we have to start from the beginning again he's willing to live with that if that's what's going to happen.

Today after looking over some of my old architecture plans with my fellow cabin mates Percy takes me to the city so we can get away from the campers and just talk. He brings me to a quirky old diner type place called Marvin's that looks retro not on purpose but because they just haven't had any renovations or changes at all since the 60's. Despite the rundown look it is actually quite sanitary, Percy guides me to an empty booth which isn't saying much since the whole place is empty. "I know what you're thinking, why here to this empty old restaurant but trust me the food is greasy goodness and you have all the privacy in the world." He explains. I smile at him and silently laugh. Percy always manages to make me smile, I thank the gods that I woke up to him a month ago because after all the overwhelming stuff that I've been through lately and all the pressure I can always look forward to seeing him at the end of the day. "Thanks" I say.

"For what?" He responds quizzicaly

"Everything"

"I guess you are not so different from the last Annabeth after all, for example, you both think I'm the greatest"

"Uhuhhh totally...." I answer sarcasticly but I can't help but smile and blush.

"I know you like me" he taunts grinning lopsidedly the way he does every time he teases me.

I can feel my ears go beet red but I still manage to respond "not as much as you like me."

"I would tell you that's not true but I find it morally wrong to lie......" his maner changes and he becomes more sincere, I cant help starring into his intense sea green eyes, mysterious like the deep ocean. "I would hold up the sky for you, I would jump onto Tartarus for you, I would die in a heart beet if it meant saving you because I love you more than words can describe Annabeth Chase and I don't care if you lost your memory, I will always love you even if you stop loving me. Just because I'm not immortal doesn't mean mean my love for you isn't."

"I........I don't know what to say." I can feel my eyes tearing up. How can anybody love someone as much as Percy loves me and by anybody I mean me. I obviously like him, who wouldn't fall for a cute sweet caring boy like him but what if I can never love him as much as he loves me? I burst into tears. "I'm so sorry Percy"

POV:Percy

"Dam it Percy why did you have to scare her off like that!" I chastise myself. Before I can beat myself up about it more a waiter arrives the booth.

"Excuse me sir are you ready to order yet?" A strangely reptilian voice asks me. Not in the mood to talk fight or even find out what kind of monster he is I uncap riptide and stab him in the stomach. The once humanoid creature is now nothing more than a pile of sand on the ground but I do not stay to marble at my quick work instead I calmly walk out the store and into the busy streets of New York.

It's getting late so instead of heading back to camp half-blood I go over to my mom Sally's house which is only a few blocks away from the diner. When I get there my mom answers the door wearing an apron and her hair is tied back, it smells like my moms baking with I guess is probably something unique and blue.

"PERCY" she exclaims pulling me into a tight hug. "I did know you were dropping by" she asks sceptically

"Are you alright, are you injured?" Her voice now panicked.

"No mom I'm fine" I chuckle.

"Percy this is no laughing mater, with Annabeth losong her memories you could have gone out and done something stupid, I'm just worried about you." She reprimands me. She's about to continue but she's cut off by baby Hestia crying in another room.

"Can you get Tia this time Paul, I'm kind of busy right now. I can hear Paul grumble something about how she's always kind of busy before going to calm her down. My mom turns her attention back to me.

"Here Percy why don't you come in." She says stepping out of the door way slowing me to enter the entryway. It's a little cramped but compared to her last apartment this place is a mainsoin.

"Sorry for dropping in like this with no notice" I apologize sheepishly.

"No problem honey you're welcome here anytime." She says and I know it's true but I just haven't felt as welcome since baby Tia was born.

"Thanks mom." I smile and try to feel as happy as possible. I can tell my mom knows I'm not as happy as I'm trying to be but she decidedes that she'll ask me about it later knowing that now's not the right time.

"Why don't you go say hi to Hestia, normally I wouldn't let you since it's her bed time but since it's you I'll allow it besides let's admit she's not getting that much sleep right now anyway." She tells me. "You can take your time if you want, let's not kid ourselves, that baby's not falling asleep any time soon." She jokes. I climb the wood stairs now decked out with baby proofing. I walk down the hall and stop at a white door covered in flower stickers and a name tag that looks like siteaH because of dislexia but I know it says Hestia. I softly know on the door and and Paul awseres it practically throwing the baby at me trying to get rid of her so fast.

"Paul are you alright?" I ask unsure as to whether I should laugh or be genuinely worried.

"Sleeeeeeep! He yells as he dives into his bed and dozes off right away.

"Well that was impressive." I smile at baby Tia.

"You'll understand one day when you have kids of your own Percy." My mom says from the doorway.

"WOW MOM! HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THERE! A little warning next time might be appreciated!" I say exasperated.

"Laguage" She repremends me while covering Hestia ears.

"Geez mom sorry."

"Don't be sorry, be useful and go take the cookies out of the oven before they burn. Here I'll take Tia." She "asks".

"Thanks for the warm welcome mom." I say sarcastically

"Anytime, now go get those cookies." She reminds me ignoring my sarcasm.

I head down stairs feeling alittle bit better after seeing Hestia. I take the cookies out of the oven and take a bite of one the blue goodness invading my mouth.

"Thanks mom" I tell her hoping some how she can mentally hear me "you always know exactly how to cheer me up."
