“You heard the news?” Tanong ni Daniel pagdating ko sa lobby.

“What news?” Tanong ko naman.

“Hindi ba sinabi sayo ng secretary mo?” Tanong niya ulit sa akin. Tinaasan ko  siya ng kilay. Baliw ba siya?

“Magtatanong ba ako kung sinabi sa akin..” Tapos inirapan ko.. Aga-aga nambibwisit.

“Sungit naman.. halikan kita diyan e..” Bumulong siya. Teka nga, ano daw? Hindi ko narinig.

“Ano sabi mo?!” Sigaw ko. He just shrugged at saka umiling.

“Wala, sabi ko may bago daw tayong instructor..” Sagot naman niya. Eh, Bago? Bakit wala kaming alam tungkol doon?

“Wala namang sinabi si Sophia nung meeting. Pero sino daw ba?” Tanong ko.

“Ewan..” Sagot ni Daniel.

Tapos dumiretso na kami dun sa room namin. Akala ko andun na yung bago naming instructor pero wala. Kung sabagay naman kasi maaga pa. Kaya naghintay kami. Maya-maya lang, dumating na ang hinihintay namin..

 “Sebastian? Ikaw?” Umiling si Sebastian, gumilid ito na para bang may dadaan tapos may pumasok.

“I'm your new professor for the whole year until your graduation..” Usual cold na sabi ni Sophia sa amin. Tama kayo si Sophia nga ang ibang

“But, your also a student like us..” Sabi ni naman Daniel. Umiling si Sophia.

“Of course not. I already graduated 3 years ago and got my masteral and doctorate degree in business..” Napanganga kaming lahat. Ganoon ba siya katalino to earned that degrees easily? Tapos tinignan niya kami isa-isa..

“Well, you shouldn't be so surprised that I will be your new instructor..” Halos hindi kami makaimik. Tama siya, we shouldn’t be surprised because the Head Masters of Royal Academy for the past 50 years did this. They handle the last year of the student to make sure na they are ready to face the world of business.

“I know that you are informed that on your last year, it will be more on application of what you learn all these years. You'll be exposed to the big world of business. You will be trained to handle different business industries. Also I invited important persons to compete with you. And to make it more fun.  So you have to do your best..” Tapos biglang sumabat si Alexa. Damn this girl doesn’t really know the meaning of respect.

“Why do we have to do it? Besides we already handled business on our own..” Napatingin sa kanya si Sophia. At saka siya tinaasan ng kilay.

“Because I want to see if you are all really capable of handling a big responsibility. Dahil sa oras na magkamali kayo ng desisyon, hindi lang kayo ang maapektuhan.  And if I see that you aren't capable, then..” Tumingin siya sa aming lahat. As if assessing us.

“You will become nothing.. Am I right Acel?” Napatingin kami kay Acel. Ito ang unang beses na nagkausap si Sophia at Acel dahil kahit noon, they don’t interact with each other.

“Yes, my lady.. ” Magalang na sagot ni Acel. Matagal munang tinignan ni Sophia si Acel. Bumalik din ang tingin nito sa aming lahat.
