A Deatheater's Life ( A Draco Malfoy fanfic)

First Day of Classes

I got up as breakfast was ending and walked towards my first class, charms. I have always been really bad at charms. I walked in and sat down on the side of the room with my fellow Slytherins. I felt someone slide into the seat next to me.

"So...?" Daphne said expectantly.

"What?" I said confused.

"So are you an item or not?" she said.

"I didn't ask..." And the second after I said that the class started.

After Charms class

We all got up and rushed out of the class. It was really boring. I started heading for my next class. I looked at my schedule and saw I had potions with my dad.

I reached the dungeons just in time. There was only one seat left in the Slytherin section of the class next to Draco and  one open next to Harry. I shot Harry an apologetic look as I sat down next to Draco.

My dad walked in the room and didn't even look at us.

"Are you happy with your seats? *uncomfortable pause* Good because that is the way they shall be all year. The person sitting to the right of you is your partner. You have the whole class to perfect an aging potion. Go." he said and I flipped open by book to pg. 6.

"Do you want to get the ingredients, and I'll get started?" Draco asked me. Great, I thought, we're partners.

"Yeah, " I said. Draco and I worked well together and completed our potion very quickly.

I motioned for my dad to come over and in spect our potion and when he did he gave Draco the nastiest look.

He inspected out potion and it was nearly perfect.

"Since your potion is finished, you are dismissed from class," my dad told us. We cleaned up our materials, grabbed our bags, and headed out of the room.

"What do we do now?" Draco asked.
