I tried to forget about the whole Draco incident. But it stuck in my head. I couldn't get the image out of my mind.
"What's up with you?" Daphne asked as she came into our dorm after the party. I explained the whole story to her.
"I don't know why it's bugging you. Usually I'm good at this stuff," she said dissapointed.
"I don't know either," I said," Maybe I should go talk to him?"
"That's a good idea," Daphne said. I got up and left our dorm. I'm not sure what time it was, but it was quiet in the common room now, only a few people who had passed out on couches were left. I walked over to the boys' dorm and knocked. Blaise opened the door.
"Hey Blaise, can I talk to Draco?" I asked him.
"He's..um..busy?"
"Oh move over, Blaise," I said as I pushed past him into the dorm. Draco was sitting on his bed, crying. Correction: bawling helplessly.
"Draco?" I asked quietly, unsure of what to do. He looked up at me, heart broken.
Then he started crying harder.
I walked over to him, grabbed his hand, pulled him up, and dragged him out of the room.
Blaise looked at me questioningly.
"I'll bring him back later," I told him.
I dragged Draco to a part of the castle only a few people knew about. It was just a secluded hallway with some really nice bathrooms and a balcony at the end.
Draco had stopped crying now. We sat down on the bench.
"Draco?" I looked at him.
" What?" he sniffled.
"Are you okay?"
" No." I pulled him into a hug. A tight, firm hug to let him know I was here for him.
"Did I slap you that hard?" I asked trying to be funny. It worked because he burst out laughing. I smiled at him. He looked at me.
" What?" he asked.
"Nothing. I guess it just makes me feel better to be able to make you laugh, even when you're that upset," I told him. He grabbed me around the waist and scooted me closer to him on the bench. I leaned into him, letting his warmth seep into me on the chilly night.
We walked in silence back to the common room. Once we went inside he walked me over to my dorm.
"Goodnight Kate." Draco said. I looked down out of exhaustion.
"Night Draco, " I said as I yawned. He lifted my chin and looked me in the eye. He then planted his lips on mine. I was so suprised by this I pulled away quickly.
"I - I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that," he said as he ran his hands through his hair.
"It's fine," I said.
"No, really, I shouldn't ha-"
I cut him off by planting my lips on his, wanting to feel the sensation of his lips on mine again. After a few seconds I pulled away. I'd never kissed a guy before, which is a little wierd at 14, but there's a first time for everything, right?
Nobody's Point of View
Snape walked in right after Draco and Katerine had, hearing noises, he decided to check on the party he knew was going on. It happened every year. Snape walked around the common room and surveyed it. He heard voices around the girls dorm and walked over to it. He looked down the hallway and saw Draco and Kate. He watched silently as Draco kissed her and a feeling came to him, a feeling of anger at Draco, knowing that Draco was a player, and would break his daughter's heart. But then they exchanged a few words and he thought it was over, and went to walk away, until he saw his daughter reach up and kiss Draco again. He cringed and walked away quickly, not wanting to see anymore.

A Deatheater's Life ( A Draco Malfoy fanfic)
FanfictionHi guys! As of May 2020, I'm completely revamping this story. I started writing it when I was 13, and it makes me physically cringe to read so I decided to rewrite (and finish) the story. It'll be the same general story, but with much better writing...
