"Seems like our Queen is two-faced. How am I not surprised."~ Lee Eun-Byul
"Ever since the choosing of the future queen, I've always wondered why our poor Jimin chose you. You're such a disgrace to the future generation." Queen Park spat at Eun-Byul, making her flinch as she set the heels down.
"I was just-"
"Just what, exactly? I obviously believe that you can't walk in heels-"
"Queen Park." Someone interrupted, making them both look to see..
Namjoon.
"Ah, Namjoon. What is it?" Queen Park answered politely, making Eun-Byul shift awkwardly and roll her eyes.
"Seems like our Queen is two-faced. How am I not surprised." Eun-Byul thought, biting her lip to not laugh, even though she definitely wanted to.
"Your sons are looking for you. I'll take care of her." Namjoon replied, glancing at Eun-Byul. Queen Park glared at the younger lady.
"Remember the first rule. It isn't about you, it's about the royal family. If you embarrass yourself, you embarrass all of us. Get your act together." Queen Park deadpanned before she left, her heels clanking onto the marble floor as she walked away.
"What a horse face." Eun-Byul muttered, gritting her teeth as she grabbed the heels.
"Eun-Byul, let's talk." Namjoon said, grabbing her by the wrist. Eun-Byul eyed him as she raised an eyebrow.
"There's nothing to discuss, obviously. You basically lied to me, pretended to be someone else, and deceived me by telling me you weren't part of a royal family. You've become one of those people I despise." She spat, making Namjoon sigh as she walked off.
But he isn't giving up yet.
"Eun-Byul, instead of thinking of me as a prince, why can't you think of me as Namjoon, your college best friend?" Namjoon called out to her, making her come to a complete stop.
"Who would stay up all night studying with you when it was the day before the exam?" He added, smiling as he finally got a hold of her.
"Who stayed with you all day at the hospital when your dad ever passed out or fainted?" He asked again.
"That..- that doesn't mean anything!" She stammered, turning around.
"It does if you paid attention to me." Bingo. Namjoon finally caught her. She sighed and walked back to him.
"Listen, you're lucky I'm forgiving you right now because if I didn't I would've punched you by your first sentence-" she was interrupted by Namjoon's embrace, his smile brightening.
"You would never do that to your best friend." Namjoon opinionated, making her chuckle as she wrapped her arms around him also.
"That's your opinion. I would always hit you." She teased, making him laugh. As they hugged, Jimin watched the two from the corner, his fist clenching in jealousy.
Though, he didn't even realize why he was like this. Was it Eun-Byul changing him? Or was it because she was his future wife?
He looked down at his fist before letting it open, the cold air circling around the palm of his hand. He sighed and went to his older brother's room.
"Yoongi hyung, do you got a second or so?" Jimin asked as he knocked on his door, a loud groan in response. Yoongi got up and opened the door, letting Jimin in. Jimin smiled proudly, thinking that Yoongi wouldn't hit him like he usually would when he wakes up.
But it was the opposite.
As soon as Jimin sat down, Yoongi immediately hit him on the back of his head, making Jimin glare and hiss.
"Hyung-"
"What do you want this time?" Yoongi deadpanned, rolling his eyes. Jimin sighed, obviously vexed and hurt.
"Why am I like this?" Jimin asked, like it was obvious Yoongi would know.
"Like what, exactly?" Yoongi asked, his eyes narrowing.
"I feel.. jealous. Namjoon hyung and Eun-Byul were hugging, and I was overly jealous for no reason. Also, I felt like.. heat rush to my cheeks when I caught her from a fall, and our faces were close together." Jimin exclaimed, making Yoongi lay back.
"I can't help you. All I can say is that you probably have feelings for her." Yoongi replied, making Jimin widen his eyes.
"Uh, no! I can't have feelings for that.. that.. witch!" Jimin spat, making Yoongi chuckle deeply.
"Stop talking about our mother, I'm talking about Eun-Byul." Yoongi savagely answered, making Jimin laugh a bit, but was still serious.
"How do I even like that girl? She's so under educated-"
"She's definitely smarter than you, that's for sure." Yoongi interrupted, looking at his veiny hands as he glanced up at Jimin.
"Okay, but I'm talking about royalty-wise. Don't you think? She can't walk in heels, and I take a bet that she can't stand up for the kingdom." Jimin said, smirking.
"She can rock a dress, making you feel jealous, make you flustered, humiliate you, and make you very stressed when you're most of the time, carefree. Who else could? Plus, with her going to the same school as Namjoon, I can tell she has a high level of intelligence." Yoongi retorted, making Jimin snap his head at Yoongi.
"How do you know they went to the same school?" Jimin asked, making Yoongi smirk.
"Namjoon told me. They also had the same major, too. Jealous again?" Yoongi asked, making Jimin let out a "psh."
"Obviously not!" Jimin stammered, but that only made Yoongi's smirk wider as he sat up.
"You definitely like the woman, Jimin." Yoongi fought. Jimin looked away and got up, fixing his suit.
"I don't. I'm leaving. You're no help!" Jimin denied, leaving Yoongi's room and heading towards Jungkook's hangout with Taehyung, which was always the gaming room.
"Step up your game, hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed, making Taehyung growl.
"What do you know, idiot! How about you step it up?" Taehyung said, making Jimin silently laugh as he hears the two play.
Jimin was about to walk in when he heard a familiar voice, laughing.
"It doesn't matter, you guys are going to lose anyways." A feminine voice told the two, making Namjoon laugh.
"She's right. We've been playing these types of games for years. We're the best team." Namjoon added.
Jimin hearing enough, walked in and was angry to see Eun-Byul sitting beside Namjoon, playing with the other two princes.
"Eun-Byul, what're you doing here?" He yelled at her, his jealousy getting the best of him. His yell made the four all snap their heads towards him. His eyes catch Eun-Byul's, who was looking annoyed.
