Chapter-4: I'm Alive

Violet's POV#

A bright light flashes before my eyes, there was the of the surrounding ocean. Ruins of metal stuck out of the water in the distance. The sand of the the near by beach stuck on my hands, as well as blood.

Hesh's POV#

"Is she even still alive?" I asked in concern. "I don't know the last time I checked her pulse, they were weak, just let the doctors work." Kick responded. "Calm down, knowing that a normal person like her would've already died before we got there, I know one thing and that is she is strong enough to survive through this." Merrick also commented. "I need to talk to Elias, where's Logan." I said extensively. "He's already with him." Merrick replied. I then walked around Merrick towards the exit of the medical section of the base. I was stopped by Merrick when he said " I'll keep Elias posted on how she's doing." I nodded my head and then walked out of the doors and made my way to the command center, where Elias, my father worked as our commander. I walked in to the room where Logan and Elias were. "Are you boys alright, Merrick told me what happened over there?" Elias asked as he came over to put a hand on my shoulder. "We're fine dad, the one we should be worrying about is Violet." I said with my head down. "Listen to me son, both of you Violet, she is very special, that is why I ordered that she was to be brought here, Rorke only left her because he knew that if we didn't come for her then she would die and we would've given up our only chance of stopping him, and he also would've have told her lies about what really happened and would've have turn her against us, and also knows that we will tell her the truth and if we don't and he does it before us then it won't end so great for her and us either." Elias stated as looked into my eyes. "I know dad but, we are going to have to tell her what happened to her mother and her friend last night." I added. "I know, well do our best but she is going to need time." Elias said with disappointment.

"Elias, Hesh, Logan, are you their." Merrick's voice came on over the radio. "Were here, what's going on Merrick?" Elias replied. "The doctors said that Violet is awake." responded Merrick. "Copy we're on our way." Elias had said back.

Violet's POV#

My eyes were still trying to adjust to the brightly lit up room. When everything started to settle down for my eyes see, saw that I was lying down in a bed in a room that looked like a hospital room. Where was I thought in confusion. Did Rorke come back for me and then put me here. The last thing I remembered was leaving in a helicopter. I hurried and got of the bed. I then felt a shock of pain rush through my leg. D### it I said to myself I forgot my leg was broken. I then reached for the wall, I then had to force myself self up on my right leg, and I started to lean all of my on wall on my right side. As I tried to move, I felt pain in my right side that then forced me into my back on the wall. I then finally got close enough for me to get to the door. Once I did locked it so they couldn't come in but I knew it wouldn't hold them for long. The next thing I noticed was that I wasn't wearing anything but this ugly looking surgical drape. Where the f### did they put my clothes. I then saw cabinet on the other side of the room. I was being stupid and didn't think as I tried to walk over to the cabinet and forgot about my leg and tripped and fell on my shoulder, the one that was hurt. "Oh, F###!" I shouted in pain. "I then began to see blood on the ground of where I was. "S###!" I said as I began to crawl over to the cabinet. When I reached to open it I saw that it wasn't my other clothes but just a pair of jeans and a shirt. I then sat up on my butt with my back leaning against the wall behind me. I put the shirt on and then when I tried to get the pair of jeans on I had force myself up of the ground which did hurt like hell. When I was done, I didn't even think about the main solution to my problem was finding away out. I looked over at the window and saw that I was on the third floor and I knew that I would never survive that drop. I was then scared by a knock at my door. I then looked down at the counter next to me and saw a pair of scissors on it. I grabbed them and then started back up towards the window. "Violet, are you alright, why is the door locked. a voice said through the door. "Let me go Rorke, just leave me alone." their was a pause.

Hesh's POV#

We walked up the hallway towards Violet's room and saw Merrick and Keegan both knocking on the door and they were both calling for Violet. We all ran toward them when Elias shouted, "What happened?" in concern. "She locked the door, and she said for Rorke to let her go." "Is he in there?" I asked in panic. "No, she thinks that we're him. Keegan said as he continued to knock on the door. Kick the door open then. I said eagerly.

Violet's POV#

My shoulder wouldn't stop bleeding and it stung like hell. I was still in the corner of the room with pair of scissors in my hand. And Rorke was still trying to get in the room, "Leave me, alone!" I yelled again. Just then the door bursted open. A man walked in with his hands up in the air. "What do you people want with me?" I said with pair of scissors in hand aimed at him. "Violet, listen to me we do not want to hurt you we just want to talk to you." the man replied. What I was thinking was that all of this must be a load of bull s###, but he could be telling the truth and I wasn't going to stab someone who was trying to help me.

Hesh's POV#

I could hear their conversation because I was on the outside of the room next to the door with my pistol out. "Don't hurt her, she probably doesn't know." Elias my father said to me.

I nodded my head and then turned and walked into the room where I saw Merrick with his hands up in the air and Violet who had blood poring out of her shoulder, and she was holding a pair of scissors and they were aimed at Merrick, but her eyes spotted me with my gun pointed at her. "Who are you people?" she finally asked. "Just put down the weapon and we will tell you everything you want to know." I replied. "Fine, but you put your gun down first." she said with her eyes glued on me. "Put your gun down, Hesh." Merrick commanded. I let out a sigh, then finally threw my gun on the ground.

Violet's POV#

I really had no clue what I was doing but I knew it really didn't mattered to me right now if I died, I might as well see if they were telling me the truth. I watched as the man dropped his gun down on the ground. I then took a deep breath and then dropped the scissors on the ground. I didn't have to surrender myself but I all really wanted was to find out the truth.
