Chapter-10: A New Power?

Violets pov

"I want her now, we cannot allow them to escape with her, now that she has discovered her powers. She is very important. More important than your very lives, find and capture her, then bring her to me to the outside wall for extraction. Otherwise don't bother coming back empty-handed." a voice too fimilure not forget. It was Rorke's. My heart beat began to race. All of a sudden chills began to work itself down my body. I then felt a hand on my arm.

"Are you okay?"

Hesh questioned with his hand on my arm. I looked down at my hands then back up to his eyes. I shook my head still tramitized at what I had just seen.

"What happened, I just saw your eyes change again." He added

"Rorke is here somewhere. And he's close." I finished. Hesh then looked up to look around then he looked back down to me. He then swore himself in breath.

"Alright we need to find the others and get out of here to somewhere safe." He then said.

"But if their not here then where are they?" I questioned sounding a bit more worried.

"They wouldn't leave us here." Hesh then stated. I nodded my head at the thought. But my mind just help but stay worried about them. What if they're dead or Rorke had captured them. Every single thought that came to my mind swirled around like a never ending record player playing music. Until suddenly the sound of a nearby explosion shook the terrible thought from my mind, for now.

"What the h*** was that?" Hesh asked as he ran close up to me and grabbed my hand to pull me back behind a cement wall.

Logan's Pov

"What was that?" I heard Merrick shout to everyone. I then looked over to my dad.

"I don't but we need to reach Hesh and Violet now, before Rorke does." He answered.

Right now I'm feeling very concerned. Not about my brother, Hesh. But I'm concerned about Violet. I know it's weird that I'm not concerned about my own brother but I am about a girl that have never met before. I just know that my brother is strong and smart and he's my older brother, so I know I don't have to worry about him a lot even though I do sometimes, I don't really, alot. I'm more worried about Violet, because of Rorke. It's not that I'm afraid of him it's just what will he do if he captures her again. I'm just so confused. Me and my brother were told that if we're going to defeat Rorke, that we would need her. We were only told that she was just very special and powerful. We thought that it was just some kind of joke, but what we saw her do early, in the command center. Made us change our minds about it. Me a Hesh had talked about how I must be true, that Violet is gifted. Can't say exactly what or how but I do know that she cannot fall into the wrong hands, The Federation. Rorke.

"Sir, I'm getting a video feed from the command center, it's them. I looked over at a soldier with a laptop, typing things.

I watched as my dad jogged over to him.

"Is there anyway to contact them?" Keegan then asked, while he was collecting some ammo from a crate.

"I can try something that might be able to boost to comm levels back up." replied the soldier.

"Do it." Elias ordered.

Violets Pov

"Rorke is getting closer, I don't understand? How does know where I am? Because if I'm being  correct in saying,  that explosion sounded pretty close." I asked wanting an answer.

Hesh just there for moment with gaze upon me and he looked as though he was puzzled about something.

"What?" I asked trying understand what he was thinking. "When Rorke captured you, did anything happen, like I don't know a surgery on you or something like that?" He asked
