I'm on a beach. I could feel the heat from something was not the sun but was falling from the sky above me. I was laying down looking up towards the sky.
"Where am I? Am I dreaming." I asked myself in my mind.
I tried to make myself stand but I couldn't, I just felt numb and my body wouldn't obey.
Suddenly I heard footsteps coming. I looked over to my side. Then darkness.-------------------
I jerked forward in my bed, panting. Cold sweats running down my body. My eye were wide awake in terror.
I put my hand over my eyes then climbed out of bed. I slipped some sweats on a long with sneakers. And carefully opened my window so I wouldn't wake the others. I checked my watch to that it was 6:28 in the morning. I sighed having being exhausted. Its been almost two weeks and Ive still been having dreams or nightmares about me. I hadn't told Elias or Hesh or the others about them.
I carefully climbed out of my window that lead to the roof. I carefully walked over to my favorite spot, on the roof that would go to clear my head. The crisp morning wind blew at me.
I'd been training hard with Elias, Merrick, and sometimes with Hesh. Two weeks of me running and exercising and gun training and climbing and falling and fighting, tonight was the night that I was going on my first mission. We're heading to South America. To gain information about Rorke's where abouts from a friend of his who owns a corporation there and it's also Federation day there. Me and Hesh, found intel on him heading their for the celebrations. So that's where we're going whenever Elias gives the order.
"Hello, Violet." I heard a voice ask.
"Hey, dad what are you doing here, I thought that you would be with mom and the other's right now?"
"I was but I saw that you were troubled, and you were up here.""Yes I am, I don't understand this dream that I had. This one wasn't like the other's that I have had. This time it was different. Do you anything? "
There was a long silence.
"Dad are you there?" I questioned.
Their still wasn't a response.
"Dad?" I questioned once more.
I sighed at the quietness. I wondered what was wrong. In the many times that I had spoken to him, he didn't just disappear like that without telling me, except for that time when I had first heard him talking to me at the base. The last words that he had said to me was that he was proud of me and I didn't have to worry.
"I thought that you might be up here." A voice from behind said.
I turned around to see Hesh standing with a pistol in his hand.
"Hesh, you scared the s### out of me." I replied.
"Sorry, just heard some sounds coming from up here." He answered walking over to me. We both sat down.
"Are you okay, I know that know that you would only be up here about something.?" He asked.
"I'm fine I just had-" I stopped and looked away from him to slow sun rise coming from the side of us.
"Had a what, and who were you talking to when I came up here?" He asked.
I turned back at him, I could tell that he was still a bit tired from us staying up last night trying to come up with a plan for tonight. I still didn't want to tell him about the dreams. But I didn't see that I had choice to. I didn't want to lie to him either.
