Still standing with a dumb look on their faces, Namjoon slowly walked away "I can't say any more than that... but I have to go. See you when I get home Ellie" just like that he was gone.

"Now things just got interesting" Hoseok said with his heart smile.

"You know what... my brain hurts. I can't be doing this right now" Ellie began to head back home, like a puppy, Hoseok followed.

**Evan's POV**

"This design is too 'cutesy' for my taste for this game" he leaned back in his desk chair, deeply focused on the computer. "What are you talking about, she is perfect for that part" Jennie excitedly said.

"This game needs to sell, if you keep putting this idea up then the boss will have to deal with you"

The door to the 'Game Develop & Design' room cracked open. "Excuse me, but I got your coffee ready guys" Jungkook said with an innocent voice. All the staff stopped what they were doing and gather around Jk to get their addiction. Dazed by the rush of people, Jungkook went by Evan desk.

"Here's yours... made it just how you like it, Evan" he smiled with his bunny teeth showing.

"Thanks, Jungkook, soon you will become one of us... until you finish that design you said you were working on"

"I promise it will be ready for my presentation, I need to be here. This is my environment, I was born to create games" Jungkook hopped up and down with excitement. "I know baby bunny, but I can't let you join if your presentation doesn't sell" Evan said as began to type.

"I won't let you down sir" he ran to his desk and got to work. Evan works at a gaming company, he's the lead designer and developer at the place. He has his own little team that looks over games and presents them to the boss. The 'dream team' which the CEO calls them. After a while, things got quiet for a minute, since everyone was working.

"Have you guys heard about the murder last night" Jennie said as she spins in her chair.

"I heard it was gruesome sight, the body was chopped up to pieces" Jungkook added in.

"My sister was there when they were searching the body" Evan said as he stopped his work to join in the conversation. But I haven't heard from her about it, Jimin told me this morning before leaving" everyone in the room went 'ooo la la' ignoring their teasing— Evan took a sip of his coffee.

"We weren't doing nothing naughty... get y'all head of the fucking clouds. But am going to check the scene once our work is done"

"Can I go with!!" Jungkook yelled. Everyone chuckled at the cute intern enthusiasm. Nodding his head, since he couldn't say no, Evan agreed to let him tag along. After finishing his coffee, he went to go get more.

Entering the breakroom, he spotted someone sitting at one of the tables, alone. When Evan smiled at him, the person gave him a blank stare, which made him flinch a little bit. The worker stood up and left the room with two cups of coffee in his hand. Must have had a rough night... but never seen him on this floor before, he thought to himself.

Getting that stare out of his mind, he poured more coffee into his form cup. Not a minute later, Jimin came in. "Hey baby" he said smiling.

"Mr. Park, what are doing on this floor? This area is for top dogs only" Evan smirked.

"As a marketer for this company, there's a meeting I have to intend with the CEO... that's why I'm in your area" he takes a hold onto Evan shirt and pulls him closer. "What strength for a tiny man" he teased him.

"There's more where that came from Evan" he leans in for a kiss, but instead he whispered in his ear "But first I need a cup of coffee before I deal with him"

"Tae can be tough to please IF he's in a good mood... which he always in. Good luck with the meeting babe" Evan waved goodbye as he went back to work. When heading back, he spotted Jennie with that guy he saw earlier. "Must be her boyfriend?" he said quietly.

"Must be who's boyfriend?" a voice behind repeated. The sudden sound made Evan jump with fear, he tripped and fell on the soft ground "goddamn it Jk, you can't be doing that to people" he wheezed.

"My bad... didn't mean to startle you, Evan. But you shouldn't be spying on people"

"First of all, I wasn't spying... I glanced over for a bit and saw Jennie there. Mind your own business Jungkook" he stood up carefully and dusted himself off. When he glanced back, Jennie was giving him 'you are fucked' stare. That's when he scurried back to the office.

Later on the evening, the workers went home on by one... until it was just Jk and Evan left in the room. Fixing the papers on his desk, Jungkook turned to his boss "You should rest Evan... you been staring at that screen all day"

"I'm okay, I need to finish this for our meeting tomorrow with the boss" Evan rub his eyes in exhaustion. "You should get home, it's dangerous for you to be out this late" he yawned.

"It's only 5:02, my mom said if I stay out to pass 7 then I'm in trouble. I got another hour to work on my design. Plus you said I can join you to the crime scene"

"I changed my mind, once 6:30 hits then I will be sending you home okay"

"Okay..." Jungkook continued to fix his desk up. Evan got on his feet to loosen up his muscles. By this time, all the day shifts were getting ready to leave as the night shifters roll in. That's when things get dull and quiet. Not a lot of people work on this floor during the night, so it gets creepy.

This floor contains all the developers and producers teams... it's also the floor where the CEO office is. As Evan walked around, he heard a noise coming from a hallway. "Sounded like something fell" he said to himself. Being a good staff member, he went to go check it out.

Realizing nothing was there, he went back down the hall until something slid across his side vision. Whipping his head to see what it was, nothing came up. "Damn rats, I told Tae to fix this problem earlier" he said as he continued back.

Strolling past the CEO office, you can kind of see what's inside. Looking back to see if the secretary was there, he peeked inside. Then he put his ear to the glass to hear "Have you been working hard Jungkook?" Tae voice mumbled through the glass.

"Of course, you know how badly want this"

"If you 'badly' wanted it, then you should have taken my offer"

"You know that I won't do that Taehyung, that is cheating and unfair"

Evan stepped back for a moment to comprehend what they mentioned. What kind of offer did Tae give Jungkook, he wondered. He put his ear back onto the glass to get more details. "But it's the fastest way to get what you want, once you do this for me than you will be on Evan department for sure"

"I don't know Tae..."

Things got silent as Evan searched around to see what they were doing, that's when the secretary tapped him on the shoulder "Do you need anything Mr. Park?" she said as gave him the look.

"N-no not really, I just fell and landed on the glass.. you know what? I'm finna go. Bye!" Evan sprinted back to his office. Plopping down his chair, Evan took a deep breath. "Is Tae having an affair with the intern? Holy shit... that's kind of hot" he slightly smirked.

A couple of hours went by and Evan was the only one in the office, knowing that his work was done, he began to pack up. His phone buzzed as inched towards the end of the desk.

He caught it just in time to answer the call.

"Hello?"

"EVAN!" Jimin voice rang through the phone.

"What's up my mochi?"

"Another woman was attacked by your house again, but this time she was kidnaped as well! Babe, be careful going home okay" he said as he hung up the phone without letting Evan speak. That's two nights in a row... now, this is getting worrisome, he thought to himself.
