**Namjoon's POV**
This morning was the day where he gets to talk to Soojin friends about the disappearance. Getting up and stretching to wake himself, he slumped his way to the bathroom— but it was locked. Waiting for a while, Ellie came out "Three people, one bathroom... I love you babe but don't take too long okay" he said.
Moving out the way, Namjoon went into the bathroom to get ready for work. Once fresh, he grabbed his things, got in the car, and drove off to the station. Before entering the chaos, he grabbed a cup of coffee, smelling the aroma of the drink, Joon headed to his desk. "Good morning detective" a co-worker said with a smile on his face.
"Morning, do we have the girls on deck?"
"Yep, they got here a while ago. Her friends are quite interesting I may add"
"Let me settle in before this interview... I want my head clear from what's been happening around here" he opened his laptop and clock in. When Joon was set, his partner grabbed the witnesses. Dazed and confused, the girls enter the area. Their faces were puffy as if they were crying...
"Sit, are you, okay ladies?" Joon asked them kindly. One of the took a tissue from the desk and blew her nose "Kind of, our best friend is missing and it's all our fault" Namjoon sits up from his chair in interested. He handed more tissues out so the girls can collect themselves.
"What happened that night, please tell me"
One of them peeked at the others before facing the detective "Well, Soojin came to the city to hang out with us... everything was great until we started to drink. That's when we began to argue, which was around 10 pm. Soojin explained that she had to meet her husband so they could go home soon. But we were having so much fun, we didn't want her to leave because we rarely see each other. Because of the alcohol in our system, we couldn't control our emotions... we begged her to stay but she kept saying she needed to leave"
Writing the information, he got curious about why would you leave a drunk friend out alone— that was his next question to the girls. Another girl answers it "We weren't thinking about that... we were drinking around 3 pm non stop, hopping from place to place. We were so angry that she had to leave like that, it started to get heated and then she pushed one of us. Then she stormed away..."
Sniffles covered the area, the silence was all they heard. Continue to write down the information Namjoon asked the girls if they went to go look for her after the event. Their reply was an hour after... "Did you see anyone suspicious around you or seemed odd?" Namjoon leaned back.
"No, there was a lot of people around us in each bar, so we wouldn't know that much. There was a guy that was talking to us at one of the bars, but I couldn't focus enough to see what he looked like"
Putting his hand around his mouth, Joon face went blank for a minute. Then asked if they know what bar that was... "I don't the name but it was close to a gaming building"
He thanks the girls for their cooperation and let them free. Pushing his hair back, he began to think— there are multiple gaming buildings around this city... how supposed to know which one they were around? The only one that I know is Kim's Gaming World... but I doubt it.
In deep thought, Joon's coworker came rushing in. "THERE'S BEEN A MURDER!!" everyone in the room jumped from their seats and took what they needed to head to the scene. When getting there, reporters were already there to update people. Rushing out of the car, Namjoon mouth dropped.
"Henry..."
"You know him??" an officer questioned Joon.
"He works at Bighit theaters, he was the manager there and the husband of Soojin, the women that were kidnapped" he held back tears due to him being at work. The officer fixed his hat "Damn, but this wasn't no murder... we haven't told the reporters yet, this was a suicide. The disappearance of his wife must have driven him crazy, I feel sorry for him"
Why would kill himself out here in the open where people could see him? Joon wondered as he checks the body. You can clearly see, it was suicide— his wrist was bleeding and there are pill close to him. Then Namjoon noticed something on his neck "Is this a rope mark?" he asked.
Signaling his partner, he pointed the mark and he did identify that he tried to hang himself at first but he guess it failed. "If he tried to hang himself, then where's the noose? Where's the place he did this that? Because this definitely not it?"
His coworker was curious as well, Namjoon made a good point as if there was nothing to tie the object to— if so, then nothing is that high to hang from. Something wasn't adding up here as he figured the situation. Hanging around the scene for a while, his alarm rang as it reminds him of lunch. Taking the break, he realizes that he left his lunch home.
Groaning, he took the car and drove back. Still, in his thoughts, he tried to put everything together. He died in an open field next to a busy street, why would you do that? His wrist was bleeding and pills were around him, did he overdose himself? Where did this originally occurred? So many things ran through Namjoon mind, as he headed home.
Walking in, he knew Ellie will be there, so asked her. Suddenly a girl came rushing to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Not recognizing the person at first, he glanced the hugged. He was happy to see his old friend again but happy to see a jealous girlfriend in his vision as well.
Ellie broke up the meet & greet and sent him off to enjoy his lunch. He will be home to talk to Aria again. When getting back into the car, he saw someone cross the street— staring at him. Creeped out, he went into the car and took off... "Who was that?" he said to himself, flicking his head to the side.
Stopping at the red light, he looks to his left... smiling, he found his girlfriend second job building. He has never been in there before, during that little investigation they had when Jennie disappeared, he was stuck at work dealing with papers. His face went weird as he kept staring "Why does this area seem so familiar, I don't been here often... wait a minute, this is where I saw him before. That guy was passing out flyers for something"
A car horn ring in his ears, which knocked him out of his thought... he pressed on the gas, but his mind was still on that area "Why do I feel so weird?"
