**Namjoon's POV**

"ARE YOU SHITTING ME RIGHT NOW!! YOU HAD ONE FUCKING JOB AND YOU TWO SHITHOLES DIDN'T DO IT" Namjoon was turning red right now. He was beyond the point of furious. The two detectives who were guarding Aria stood there with their tails between their legs. "The chief is going to be up against our fucking asses for sure. Hell, our department will maybe get kicked off of the goddamn case! I can't let those bastards take over this"

One of his coworkers tried to calm him down but it didn't work. Ellie was talking to officers in the next hallway over. "Fuck you, telling me to calm the fuck down. My girlfriend is fucking destroyed and one my closest friends have been taken.... not one but two people took her! Don't tell me shit" he kept yelling at his workers. If you had people who are close to you taken, then you would be like this too.

The detectives didn't know what to do at this point, Namjoon explained that the chief is coming and that they will be kicked off the case because of this screw-up. Right, when he said that, the chief came storming in mad "HOW IN THE FUCK DO YOU LOSE A FUCKING WITNESS!! HOW!! WHEN YOU WERE GUARDING HER!! HOW IN THE FUCK DO YOU MESS UP EVERY SINGLE TIME. Namjoon you need to do a better job. Now the FBI is up against our asses and guess what... your department is off the case"

The three stood there blankly shaking at the chief's words. Joon turned to his workers and said told you as he walks away. His partner stopped him, and said that they will give up because of that?

"No, we take this in our own hands. Working outside the law. We can't let the FBI fuck this up more" he smirked. Then he went to get his girlfriend, she was still in tears after the event. The police left the room— Joon closed the door behind him. Not knowing what to do, he pulled her in for a hug. He pulled back and wipe the water from her eyes. When he looked at her, she was lifeless... like everything has been sucked out of her.

"I'm sorry..."

"I see why Evan is acting like an ass because having a person you love to get taken away destroy you. She is gone and I don't know if we could get her back" Ellie buried her head in her boyfriend's chest. That's when Joon told her that they will get everyone that was kidnapped back safe.

"You are right, I need to start doing things my way and that's what going to happen. You with me?"

"Let's get this bastard"

The next morning, Ellie woke up to her brother tapping her forehead. "Wh-what the... Evan ain't you supposed to be gone?" She said still half sleep. Telling her that he was waiting on her because he didn't want her to left alone. Getting up and dress they headed out the door to work.

"I'm sorry that I left that day, I feel horrible that it's my fault that Aria is taken. If I stayed then we would have caught them by now"

"The way they planned it was too perfect... one got caught then the other goes in to finish the job and that's what they did" Ellie said it in an upset tone. Evan side hugged her for some comfort as he was hurting as well. Once they got to the building, the twins immediately went to their work station without a single word.

Taehyung was in one of the meeting rooms, so Ellie waited until he was finished. Standing outside the busy hall, a guy tripped and fell in her sight. "You okay?" she said as she went to go help him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine... thanks for helping me" he gets on his feet and brushes his suit off. "I'm new around here and I can't seem to get my way around these floors yet"

When their eyes met, Ellie had this strange feeling like she seen these eyes before— maybe it was just her imagination due to the stress. That's when Tae came out with others, once he saw his worker with that guy he immediately swings to her side. "I'm sorry, but my girlfriend doesn't need more guys friends around" he said with a serious expression.

Ellie faced when into shock when Tae told him that. The guy chuckled at the CEO and stated that he had a girlfriend, so Ellie was a downgrade anyway. Offended, Ellie was about to say something but people got in the way and the guy disappeared with the crowd.

"That was rude as fuck" Ellie angrily said. Tae dragged her to the elevator and they went to the ground basement. Still offended by the man's words, she plopped down in a seat. Tae went on the computer, then turned to her.

"What happened last night, it was all over the news?"

"My best friend got stolen from under my eyes and the police eyes as well. There were two suspects, in which I knew it all along... like I kept saying there was so way, that Yoongi could have pulled these kidnappings off like this" Ellie crossed her arms in frustration.

"Namjoon told me that he needed my help but this time, he actually wanted me to be involved in this... will the police know if he has an innocent person help him?"

"Their department got kicked off the case. Namjoon is stubborn as hell, he won't go down without a fight. His team is doing it outside the law enforcement... taking matters into his own hands. His team needs all the help he can get if we want to catch this bastard"

Taehyung shook his head in amusement, a fellow officer not following orders just to end a case. That's what he wanted to see... Tae went to grab a notebook and a pen. As he was searching around, Ellie sat there thinking about the guy she saw.

The boss came back and slammed the materials on the desk next to her, waking her up from the thoughts. Then he stated we should write down all the events, clues, or hints that happened in the last couple of days. Then see if anything ties with others.

Ellie began to talk as she was there when the first victim got murder "We still don't have the first victim name and we don't know why she was killed. That ear I found was a fake... so nothing. Now with Soojin and Jennie, we don't know who got taken first but witnesses say that a guy was talking to them before their disappearance. Then there's Jimin then Aria... mostly every crime scene was around or in this quiet neighborhood. The scene itself wasn't helpful because they haven't left traces, expect the one in the back room on the top floor"

Tae chimed in "We know that he only takes girl's that weight less than 120 pounds. Which means they are easier to carry when they are in his hands"

"Not only that, they all are connected to someone that he knows or see before... Soojin with Henry, who was my boss and his. Jennie with you and Evan. Aria with me, Evan, and Namjoon. Jimin with Evan... he knows every last one of us. Which means he was stalking us since the beginning" Ellie stated.

"But what about Henry? Police said he committed suicide. Why do that?"

"That is weird... but you never know what a person is going through. Probably due to stress and the disappearance of his wife. But don't you want to be alive to find out what happened to her? She wasn't pronounced dead because there was no blood nearby? To kill yourself right after you talk to your workers is odd... Hobi told me what he said, and goodbye wasn't it"

The two continued to sit there and think about what they have seen "Ah~ the messages... Yoongi is good with technology, we know that much. That's why he got this job because he is good with computers and software. He sents threatens to us to scare us or gives us s jump start. He has been messaging me from time to time, explaining that one wrong move everybody I love is dead. Once he told me about Jimin on my new phone, I turned it off"

Tae asked why turn it off? It's not like it's going to stop anything... "It may not stop his actions but it stops him from recording things. I hope you check your pockets Tae"

He looked so confused...

"That guy thought I was really stupid. New guy my ass, why would anybody be hired during this mess? Should have checked himself before walking off like that" she rolled to Tae and got something from his pocket. "Looks like someone is missing a fake badge in this building. That's the oldest trick in the book...  tripping in front of someone randomly without nothing even there. To get that person attention, to either do something or to examine something"

"What you trying to say?"

Ellie walked up to his computer and went to the monitors. "Tae... one of your workers are not your worker. Like a said before this badge is fake. That person is someone we are looking for" she smiled.
