**Namjoon's POV**

As the night approached, Namjoon covered his face with his shirt and leaned back to rest. His mind wasn't off of what Ellie saw back at the building. "What's the matter Joon?" one of his coworkers said as he sat on a table across from him. Peeking, he let out a huge sigh... "What the fuck are we doing?" Joon said in serious tone. "We are sitting here with our tails between our legs, while women are missing... we have no possible leads on this fucking investigation. The only decent lead is the bar place that the victim friends stated but we can't even find that shit. I'm starting to think that are two people working together on this?"

His coworkers were shocked by the sudden outburst. "You really think that two people would come together and plan this out? You are really going by what the witness say?" He questioned him. Joon got up aggressively, which he almost cause damage behind him. "That witness makes a good point, think about it... how in the living hell does a person leave the scene that fucking fast, having nothing but a mess behind him. No blood, nothing— this person wasn't even described that well by others. But one thing that witnesses have in common is that the victims were seen talking to someone before their disappearance. This witness probably sees things that we fucking don't. If we don't find someone, we will get kicked off the case and the FBI will take over the shit... this ridiculous that we sit here and do nothing while citizens do our work for us"

Namjoon was heated at this point, red rushing everywhere on his face. He couldn't believe that Ellie could have something... "The witness you talk to this afternoon, she was the one there went the first event happened?"

A stress Joon agree on the question that was asked. "She was the one that notices the cameras still one after everything... she saw the suspect and the victim. Joon, this is a crazy idea... but we need that witness to help us with this investigation" Joon eyes popped out of his head, hearing his worker wants to bring his girlfriend into this craziness. "Are you insane!! Bringing an innocent citizen into this!"

Another colleague stepped in to agree with the other saying she probably could sense things we can't see. "She was the one that found the ear, she uses to work with Henry, knows the wife, and works at the company along with her brother... Joon she could be a possible target to the suspect due to what happened. We could protect her and get information as well"

Shaking his head no, and sitting back into the chair, he refused to let Ellie anywhere near this investigation more. His workers begged the detective to try this idea... but he kept saying no "You are the only that doesn't like this... why?"

Telling them that an innocent citizen can't be involved with crimes like this, especially when the suspect kidnaps women. The chief wouldn't let this happen, but they mention that this could be a private thing between their department. Still rejecting the offer, Namjoon covered his ears to block them out.

But they kept forcing it on him, that's when he said "SHE MY GIRLFRIEND!!!" Their silence was funny, as they all froze like statues. A knock came to the door "Ummm, excuse detectives??" Yoongi said. Namjoon looked at the assistant and told him to come in. The other unfroze then went by to work. Namjoon told him to sit in the chair. "You must be Ryujin Min? Right, Henry's assistant?"

"Yep, that's me" Yoongi smiled.

On the way home from work, Aria stated that she wants to get something to eat at their favorite restaurant. "It's late Aria, we are not supposed to be out alone during this time, we could cook the dishes at home" Ellie said as she continued to walk. Aria got right in her face and pouted... "Come on babe, please! We can't go during the day, it's boring" she tugged her best friend shirt to beg her to go. Smiling, Ellie finally agrees— they took the main streets to the restaurant.

While walking, the girls passed alleyway... where a woman was standing alone, that's what Ellie thought. The women were moving like she was talking to someone out her sight. But the way she moved didn't sit with Ellie. Trying to see further, Aria dragged her to hurry up. Probably was a prostitute doing some business and something went wrong, Ellie thought to herself as they arrived at the restaurant.

The girls order drinks and appetizers before ordering their main course. "What were you looking at back there?" Aria asked with concern. "Nothing really, I saw a woman standing in the alleyway but I guess it was a dirty business. We get that more in this area" Ellie played around with her drink.

"When I was living here that use to happen in the south end of the town... things have changed"

"No fucking kidding... first murder, then kidnappings, and now another death. What has this town come to" Ellie finally sipped on her drink, which was sour. "What did you order Aria?"

"Apple martini, your favorite" she smiled with proudness in her voice. Ellie kick her from under the table— she didn't have that for a while. After having dinner, they finally went home. They passed the same area where Ellie saw that women, checking to see— nothing. Maybe it was a dirty business she was having back there.

When entering the house, the girls spotted Namjoon watching tv "Home!" Ellie yelled. Getting up from the couch, he rushed in to hug Aria, then Ellie... while doing so he whispered In Ellie's ear "We need to talk privately" gesturing to the room. Ellie told Aria to wait in the living room until they were done. She agreed.

Namjoon dragged his girlfriend into her bedroom, then locked the door "Babe, I'm worried and scared" Joon said in a fidgety way.

Ellie senses the fear in his eyes, to calm him, she told his hands into hers "Why? What's going on my love?"

"The department wants you to come to join the investigation as a secret detective... they think you are useful. Also, you may be at risk to be on the suspect list of targets. We have no leads, except a bar by a gaming building, that Soojin was talking to a person before the disappearance"

"A bar?? There's a small bar not too far from the company but that's the only bar I know of around that area. Aria and I always go when she's in town" Ellie said as she really thought about it. "What's the name of the bar??" her boyfriend suddenly grabbed her by the wrist.

"Ryujin's lounge..."

Namjoon mind went blank as he was lost about something, then he moved suddenly, scared Ellie. "That's where I saw that freaking guy before! No fucking wonder that specific area was familiar to me... holy fuck!"
