The first Quidditch match of the season. Crescent rose earlier than she normally would on a Saturday. Seeing as she would not be able to fall back asleep, she crept into the showers changed into a maroon  jumper and a pair of black leggings before heading down into the common room.

It was nearly deserted. Holden turner sat on an armchair, staring intently at the fire. She made her way to sit next to him. "Slytherin need to win,"he said. "What?"she asked him. "Oliver is going to have driven his team to the maximum. Not that I think we're a bad lot, but Oliver is insane about Quidditch and I'd rather face off Slytherin,"Holden said.

"I think were an amazing lot and you're an amazing captain, Holden," She said, smiling at him,"Want to join me for breakfast?"

"Shouldn't be Jessica be with you?'he said, noticing that she was not present. "Usually, yes. But right now, she's having the time of her life sleeping and I do not want to be the one that has to wake her up."

He laughed,"Thanks. for the offer, but I don't I'll be able to stomach anything. However, I will join you. I love seeing Oliver lose his mind." The two of them walked into the Great Hall, where Oliver sat still and silent, a rather insane look on his face. She saw Fred and george who were the only people on the Gryffindor team who were smiling. She winked at them and they smiled back at her.

11 0 clock approached fast and Miles, Jessica and her made their way out onto the Quidditch pitch. Jessica was grumbling about being dragged into going but Miles and Crescent tuned her grumbling out.

The Stadium was packed and they squeezed themselves through numerous people before they could get a seat. The match was intense and though it was hard to see what was happening as the rain poured down furiously, Crescent could make out something was wrong. Fred and George were sticking close to Harry, beating the buldger away from him, but the buldger kept coming back to attack Harry.

Harry hit the ground and the crowd gasped. She and rest of the scholl clambered down from the stands, hoping to see what was going on. She gave up as the Gryffindors had seemed to form a wall around Harry. She spotted Fred and George sturggling to put the buldger back and went over them.

"What's wrong with the buldger?' she asked. "Someone's tampered with it,"George explained. "how's that possible? They're away locked up in Madam Hooches's room,"Crescent said. "We know,"they chorused.

Crescent turned back to look at Harry, or what she could see. Looking at him she let out a sigh. "Look what Lockahart's gone and done,"Crescent said. "Bloody hell,"they chorused. Professor Lockahart had removed Harry's bones instead of mending them.

Sunday was pretty uneventful and Crescent spent the whole day, finishing up her homework and napping. Miles and Jessica were having a date leaving her find company in the other fifth years. It was during dinner that the news reached her. The three of them had been eating dinner when a fourth year's conversation sparked their interest.
