The next morning was spent in Diagon Alley, Crescent spending her time doing last minute christmas shopping before heading towards Quality Quidditch Supplies to meet up with William. The bell jingled as she walked in and William looked up.

"Hey,"he said,"Mind waiting??I've still got some stuff to finish up."

"No problem."

She walked towards the glove section only to find Oliver Wood intently gazing at row of gloves. "Why am I surprised to see you here?"she asked, grinning at him.

"Hey,"he said, looking up at her.

"I don't think new gloves are gonna help you defeat us,"she said, picking the gloves from Oliver's hand and picking up a different type and handing it to him,"But these are better."

"Thanks."

"Any plans for the holidays seeing as you can't hang around here for the next week or so."

"Very funny, Bloom, but no. I haven't got much going on."

Crescent thought back to the conversation she and her biological parents and Emily and William had talked about that morning. Aphrodite that a party needed to be held and Emily didn't disagree. It was also then that she realized that Oliver had been with her all the times that she had spoken to them, unaware of their true identity.

"Well, if you'd like were having a little party for Christmas, "Crescent said.

"Thanks, I'll think about it."

"Hey, Cres?"William's voice called out and Crescent poked her head out from the aisle. "Do you want to go home?I might have mistaken how much work there is."

"I can help,"she said stepping out.

"I volunteer too,"Oliver said, stepping out behind her,"It's not like I've gt anything else to do."

"Oliver Wood,"William said, his eyes scanning Oliver and then turning to grin at Crescent."The more the merrier."

And the day past in the three of them helping out customers while William finished up paperwork. They had a good time laughing and teasing each other.

"Hey,"William said, just s Crescent waved goodbye to another customer.

"Hi."

"It's almost closing time and I can thank you'll both enough. Here's some moey, go treat yourself to some butterbeer or hot chocolate, go on then,"He placed some money in Crescent's hand and patted Wood on the back.

"Thanks Will,"she said,"Come on, Wood."

Pulling the older boy , they stepped out onto the street. The shops each decorated with christmas lights. Shoppers bustling around, arms laden with bags. They walked in silence to the Leaky cauldron, which smelled like warm chocolate and Firewhiskey.

They took a seat at the back, both ordering hot chocolates."How's Yellow?"Crescent asked, grinning at him."Ah, she's alright, I suppose, but she's honestly quite boring."

"Ad what would your definition of boring be?"

"Well, she doesn't want to talk about Quidditch at all!"Oliver exclaimed, as though Yellow had murdered someone."It's not the end of the world, Oliver,"crescent laughed,"I'm sure you'll can find something else to talk about.

"I doubt that."

SHe smiled at him and took a sip of the hot chocolate. It was creamy and warmth filled her body.

"I had fun today,"Oliver said as they got up to leave. "Me too, Wood, me too."

William arrived just then,"Hye, you guys done?"

"I'll see you on the 25th then?"

"Maybe."

Crescent woke up on Christmas morning to her home smelling like fresh baked cookies. Pulling on a jacket she skipped downstairs and was greeted with a hug from Aphrodite,"Merry Christmas, Crescent."

"Merry Christmas."

After a round of everyone wishing each other, Crescent sat squashed between William and Emily, a cup of hot chocolate in her hands.

"Ours first,"Aphrodite said, sanding a box to her that was wrapped in satin,"That's some pretty wrapping paper,"Crescent comment carefully unwrapping the gift. Opening the box revealed a gorgeous dress that was sheer but covered in diamonds.

She held it up, taking in the tiny diamonds that glittered as the dress moved. "It's beautiful,"Crescent spoke up. She hugged bother her biological parents.

"i hope that you'll where it tonight?"Aphrodite asked.

"Isn't it a bit too fancy for just a small party?"Crescent asked.

"About that,"Aphrodite said,"It isn't going to be as small as we said it would."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, word got around and many gods and goddess from Olympus may be in attendance."
