When our Mr.Hottie said "What if I'm the guy your dad said about getting a proposal from?" I thought he's kidding but I never in my wildest dreams expected that turns out to be true.

I ended the call and glared at Arnav who seems to be having fun with my situation.

Hey devimaya ... I agree I keep persisting you about spicing up my life with fun ... but what are you doing? Instead of adding fun you are adding troubles on my way?

I sighed looking at smirking Hottie.

So here's the life-changing conversation between me and my dad.

Dad - kushi I want to say something important to you.

Me - I'm listening dad

Dad - Do you remember few days back I called you regarding one alliance where the groom is a lecturer?

Me - Do you remember I rejected that as I want to concentrate on my studies...

Dad - Yes dear but once listen to what I say, after you rejected this proposal I informed them that you want to complete studies first and then there might be chance you will consider

Me - Hey devimaya...how can you do this dad? I clearly remember saying you that I want to do job at least for 1 year before marriage then what happened to that sentence? How can you ignore that?

Dad - kushi ... you don't understand dear ... it's very good alliance ... I don't want that to let off from our hands so I tried to convince them saying if you can wait till kushi graduates then we have no problem for which they instantly agreed.

Me - Dad seriously? Where am I in this conversation? How can you finalise without my consent?

Dad - Will you let me explain everything before jumping into conclusions?

Me - Yes dad ... I sighed

Dad - First I asked them to show your pic to the groom ... I heard he instantly liked you the moment he saw your pic and the same goes with their parents ... they all are very pleased that they made up their minds that no matter what you'll be their daughter-in-law...Then they asked the groom want to meet you but I said that she's currently busy in exams stuff and she doesn't want to get distract so I asked them some time for which they happily agreed. I met them in-person. They are very good people. They have good name and fame in society and even their financial status is good. I talked with the boy ... he's very decent and good-mannered. I instantly liked him. So...

Me - so...

Dad - Now I got call from him ... he wants to meet you ... what should I say him?

Me - Now don't act innocent dad ... when already you made up your mind then why didn't you just agree at instant?

Dad - kushi ... It's not like what you think ... see there is no fault in meeting once right? If you don't like him then no one will force you so please give him a chance once ... you always used to tell me that you have few questions to ask ... now meet him and get answers ... if you like then only marriage will happen ... I promise dear...

Me - OK dad ... as you say you won't force me ... I'm in for this.

I said and he ended call.

My phone started ringing and there is no need to guess who that could be...

Definitely my soon-to-be-Father-In-Laws call.
