Kushi POV
"Hey devimaya ... How can he be so desperate?" I murmured while calming my heart beat. Just then my monkey friends arrived to tease me!
"Koi mil gaya ... "Anju sang
"Koi mil gaya ..." payal sang
"Mera dil gaya ..." Lavs sang
"Enough guys!!!" I yelled making them stop their singing.
"Chalo yaar you better tell us about your secret love affair", anju asked excitedly.
"Hey devimaya! Me? Having secret love affair?" I asked with shocked and innocent face.
"Anju yaar I told you na she isn't the one who's going to let out the truth so why don't we ask jiju", Lavs snatched my mobile and was about to call hottiee!
"No no please don't do that! I'll tell you", I said with panicked expression which made them grin at me!
I told them every single detail of what happened which they heard like I was telling them some fairy tale!
Everyone was silent...after hearing my story...
That silence and dumb expressions almost killed me!
"I think we should film this story...what say guys? This will definitely click", Lavs said and hified anju.
"Is this really true story?" payal asked dreamily for which I rolled my eyes.
"Girls...what are you doing there at this hour? Don't you have classes tomorrow?" our warden yelled angrily.
"Here comes our mood spoiler!" Lavs commented. We all left to our room.
"I'm feeling very tired let's sleep Na!" I said while yawning.
"Yes yes why won't you feel tired especially after that romantic kiss;)", anju teased me. I throwed pillow at her which she successfully catches and shut her mouth. I hugged my pink Teddy and closed my eyes. Suddenly my mobile vibrated which I ignored.
"Good night kushi ... My jaan ... Lets meet in your dreams;) till then take care 😘 with lots of love - your hottiee ;)", Lavs read out looking at my mobile for which I sat up and snatched my mobile.
I looked at my mobile where he messaged and there's one message being sent to him.
"Done hottiee ;)"
"Lavs!!!!How dare you!!!!" I yelled and started chasing her.
Next day at class
Arnav POV
As soon as I entered my eyes started looking for my soul mate!
I got panicked when I didn't find her in that crowd of students.
Her monkey friends noticed my impatience and waved at her direction.
I noticed how she hid herself from my view and laughed internally at her childish behaviour as if I'm going to ask her to solve some critical problem on board.
After finishing the class kushi hurriedly left class hiding among those students.
I felt sad as she's avoiding me.
"What's her problem? If she doesn't like me then she can reject me. She's behaving as if I'm some demon who'll eat her alive!" I murmured to myself.
"Can any girl dislike hotties?" Lavs asked.
"No way!!!!" anju replied.
"Just have little patience my dear prince charming..." She said while winking at me before leaving the class.
I felt like I'm pressuring kushi.
I decided to give her some time to think.
I'll not message or talk with her until she herself contact me!
The following days I completely ignored her which was the most difficult task for me. I stopped taking classes for kushi class.
Kushis POV
"Huh now he's ignoring me! Seriously! No calls no text no teasing! Is he for real? I think he's done with me...let it be that way ... Why should I care?" I thought.
Today my friends decided to go for a movie but I seriously am not interested. So I didn't go with them.
Instead I went to Temple alone for some peaceful mind.
After praying to my favourite goddess I sat at a lonely place near temple enjoying nature. I heard some voices near me.
"Arnav!!! You at temple!!!" Some girl exclaimed.
"Well yeah I have a habit of visiting temples...I feel relaxed and peaceful after spending some time at temple", I heard the voice which I'm yearning to hear from past few days. My heart is forcing me to turn around and look at his face but my mind is stopping me saying he don't deserve you.
In the war between my heart and mind the winner is my heart and I turned around quickly.
I saw his face which used to be cheerful turned into sad and gloomy. His eyes have dark circles. He looks like he lost his purpose of life. What happened to him? Few days back he's completely perfect while flirting with me and pestering about marriage. Now out of blue he turned into a saint!
Suddenly he looked towards my direction and within a fraction of second our eyes met making my heart go crazy!
I saw some spark flashing in his eyes as soon as he saw me but soon that turned into something sad. He diverted his eyes away from me and continued talking with unknown lady who seems to be beautiful.
This pricked my heart...tears welled up in my eyes.
"Hey devimaya...what's happening with me? Why am I behaving like this? Why I'm feeling sad as he's not giving attention to me?" I thought and before I understand anything without my knowledge I started walking towards him. Just when he was about to leave I took his hand and pulled him to a corner and grabbed his collar with my hands.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked looking into his eyes.
"What the? Excuse me!" He looked at me confused.
"You yourself came to me ... Flirted and proposed me ... Now ignoring me as if I don't exist in this world!", I asked.
"What have you done to yourself? You look like a zombie!" I asked with concerned look.
"Why do you care? Kya farak padta hay? (Why does it matter you)", he asked with serious tone.
"Farak padta hay (It matters me) ... "I said with serious look on my face.
"Why?" He asked simply.
"What do you mean by why? How can you ask such silly thing?" I asked.
"There have to be a reason right? We don't unnecessarily care for some strangers!" He asked looking intently into my eyes as if searching for some answers .
"Hey devimaya ... Now we have become strangers! Great! ", I said dramatically.
"If not strangers then what? What are we? What relationship do we hold? If you agreed for marriage then we might be husband and wife other than that we are not lovers or at least friends ..." he said in frustration.
I was taken aback with his questions.
I caught off guard.
I ran away from him...
