Chapter 3 - Best Friends

*Andrews P.O.V.*

The dinner that Adam had asked me to attend was no big deal, after all we are like brothers to each other. The only problem is that his sister is hot without trying. We are now finishing the starter at a restaurant just across the street from Sky's Starbucks. It's only been a few minutes but already I found it hard to take my eyes off her. If she was any other girl I would have already made a move on her seven times over but because she is Adams sister I know I can't do what I want with her. In the middle of the conversation I'm having with Adam about how well my company was doing, Sky stood up suddenly. Adam and I also stood, I had to show good manners and Adam well he was worried that something had happened.

     "Will you excuse me, I need to use the ladies room" her angelic voice was music to my ears. I nodded not giving anything away. She left, leaving me to stare at her behind. After a few minutes of silence

     "Don't even think about it" a voice beside said. Adam. Damn I was daydreaming.

     "I don't know what you are taking about" I say as monotone as I can.

     "I see the way you look at her and don't try and deny it. I know you better than you think."

     "Dude she is off limits and you know that. The only way for you to get her is to be her friend." Adam had that look in his eye that I'm even afraid of.

     "Ok I get it. No hitting on the hot girl"

     "What hot girl" Sky is back at the table.

     "The waitress that is clearly taken" Adam replies with a believable lie.

     "Like that hasn't stopped him before" Sky replies half heartedly, she appears to be writing a text.

     "Once someone is married I'm not going to meddle." Sky winces lighting, almost unnoticed by me, at the word married.

     "Sure... whatever" She finishes her message and puts her phone in her bag. Just as the waiter servers us desert.

☆★After the meal in the car★☆

Sky insisted that she would sit in front of the car next to the driver. so now it's only me and Adam at the back of my work car. Ever since I got in the car I can't stop thinking about her. I just can't concentrate on what Adam is saying. It feels like nothing else is important anymore, just her.

     "-just like Sky is willing to help. Dude stop daydreaming about my sister in your bed." Adam is annoyed now.

     "I don't know what but something is different about her." Adam is about to reply when the decider between us and the front slides down.

     "Adam" It's Sky. Her eyes are wide but her voice is chillingly calm.

     " Taylor drive wherever Sky tells you" Adam looks alarmed. Taylor, my driver replies with a 'yes sir' " If she tells you to break the speed limit you do that, do you understand" another 'yes sir' and the divider goes back up.

     "What's going on? " I ask confused.

     "I will explain later. You better put that seat belt on, now!" I'm about to say a smart remark but he cuts me off "I need you to be quiet and just follow me and Sky, I don't care how not possible or scary it is. I need you to stay calm and not freak out later after Ok? " at the end he looks at me and I've never seen him this torn. I do as I'm told.

A/N: I know this chapter is short but I didn't want you to all wait another few weeks before I got some time to write. I have been busy because I have mock examinations in December and my school is already demanding as it is.
