Confession Pt. 2

Rins Pov

    It's my last day at the hospital and I'm getting restless. I need to go see Bon and make sure everything is okay. No one has been in here to tell me anything about how  he's doing and it's driving me insane. I can't help but worry. I just hope that he's okay, he needs to be okay. The doctor told me he'll discharge me within an hour and it's been way longer than that, or so it feels that way. As I was staring out the window I see Yukio walking in the entrance.

   A few moments later there's a knock at the door. "Come in," I said aloud, knowing full well that it is Yukio. The door opens with Yukio walking in with a concerned look on his face. " Woah, what's with that face," I said nervously, unsure if I'm ready to hear the words that are about to fall out of his mouth. "Rin, it's Bon," Yukio started to say. My heart instantly sank. "He's been put into a coma, his wounds were very severe and was on the verge of bleeding out, I'm sorry Rin," Yukio finished. I went numb. I didn't want to believe anything that he just told me. "Get the doctor and get me out of here now, I need to go see him," I said to Yukio as I started choking up. I was so numb that I couldn't even feel the tears that began dripping down my face.

  Yukio hurried out of the room to find the doctor so that I can finally get discharged and get out of here. 5 minutes later both the doctor and Yukio walked in. "I apologize for the wait, but I can now get you out of here," the doctor told me. The only thing I could manage to do at the moment was nod in agreement as he began filling out he discharge papers. Only five minutes later, which seemed like an eternity to me, Yukio and I were walking out of the hospital. "Can you take me to go see Bon," I didn't even hesitate at the question. Bon was the only thing on my mind. At this point I've finally collected myself enough to where I can talk and my my sense of feeling seemed to finally came back to me. "Yeah, we can go right now," he replied as if going later was even an option. He knew full well I wouldn't wait.

   It was about ten minutes later that we arrived to the hospital where Bon was at. I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and flung the car door open. I hopped out of the car and started at a steady jog. It didn't take me long to reach the inside of the hospital, but I forgot to ask Yukio where to go. I kinda just ran here so he's a little behind. I walk up to the receptionist to ask where he was. "Err excuse me, but I'm looking for my boyfr— I mean best friend. His name is Ryugi Suguro," I said embarrassingly. I can't believe I actually almost called him my boyfriend. Stupid stupid stupid. "Yeah, he's on the fourth floor room 418," she replied. I thanked her while I started making my way to the elevator.

  The elevator was luckily empty so it went straight to the fourth floor. I started impatiently scanning the numbers one by one until I came across a door labeled 418 and quickly rushed through the door. His body lie unconscious. I grabbed the chair by the window and moved it to the bed side facing opposite of the doorway. The tears again streaming down my face. "I'm so sorry Bon, this is all my fault. If only I had never decided to go there, then you would be okay. If I had known this was gunna happen I would've kept my feelings for you locked away awhile longer," I kept apologizing although there was no point because the body that laid before me couldn't hear a word that I was saying.

  Yukio finally caught up and walked through the narrow door that lead into the room. I collected myself in time so he couldn't see me cry. "Jeez Rin, did you have to leave me behind like that," he asked. "About time four eyes. Sheesh, I know old ladies who are faster than you," I jokingly replied trying to hide the pain I felt in my chest. "Old ladies huh, guess I should work on my cardio ," Yukio said laughing. I hated it, but he got me to laugh along with him. "Anyways, I checked in with the doctor to see on his progress," Yukio started. "They say his wounds are all healing pretty quick, but as for the coma they have no idea how long it can be before he wakes up," he finished.
