kpop confession time

hey guys!

i really need to come up with better greetings-

but today i'm here with my kpop confessions. when i first got into kpop, let me just say, it would have been very, very, very entertaining to watch me try to tell everybody apart. my first group and ultimate group was bts. of course, they're still my ult. but since then, i've grown lots and started stanning a few more groups, and my confessions and first impressions were quite ridiculous. so, in hopes of making some people laugh, i'm gonna tell you all about them. hope you enjoy!

BTS

-my first step into this alternate world

-my legendary index cards (which, in reality, were hilariously stupid) that i kept and still have

-i wrote down facts and characteristics about the members on them and things that would help me differentiate them (go ahead, call me a nerd)

-on jin's, i wrote, "the one with that face, duh."

-literally - i couldn't tell jin and hoseok apart solely because i knew they both had pretty distinct faces, at least to me, and i kept messing up which one of them had which distinct face-

-i used to think that vlive was made for and by taehyung 

-it blew my mind when i found out, embarrassingly late, that suga and agust d were the same person

-annyeonghaseyo jeoneun bangtan sonyeondan hwaggeum maknae jeon jungkook ibnida

-ok, so 18 members, right?

-no? what? 21? 19? 234? what do you mean they keep adding people, that's not supposed to happen- ohhh, they're the only group with that concept. got it.

-just kidding, what?

-so you're telling me that they have three units

-ok, maybe not, they can apparently keep adding more units too

-mark? who- oh yeah, i've heard of him

-taeyong? the super charismatic dude? i was intimidated at first

-i didn't know ten spoke english until i heard him on a random interview and it blew my mind

-jeffery

-i got super confused because haechan was the maknae of 127, and jisung was the actual maknae, and i thought, "there can't be two maknaes, wtf?"

-turns out, haechan was only the maknae in 127. go figure.

-i actually learned all the members in about...3 days

-i thought nct night night was some kind of asmr sleeping show where they tried to put you to sleep

-is it just me or did anybody else think lucas looked like minho (shinee)?

-and jungwoo looked like taemin?

- *waves goodbye to bias list as it jumps out a window*

STRAY KIDS

-oh god

-pretty young, they're cute

-ausTraLiaN meMberS?

- "straight kids" pffft

-i thought hyunjin was a singer

-i thought changbin was all mean and stuff (you've gotta be kidding me)

-i found out about them pre-debut but didn't actually fully stan until three months after debut or so

-when i heard there was a jisung in skz, i literally thought, "oh god, another one."

-i spent days trying to decide my bias, it was between jisung, hyunjin, jeongin, and occasionally felix

-hyunjin won, evidently

SEVENTEEN

-oh, great, more crazy people

-i wondered how dino felt having 12 older 'brothers' 

-i didn't know seungkwan was in the maknae line, i thought he was way older

-vernon reminded me of leonardo dicaprio for some reason

-i thought jeonghan's long hair was weird in mansae era

-but i now acknowledge it as a great era

- "what- why are they called seventeen if they have thirteen members?"

-dang, it's pretty impressive that they're that in sync for thirteen people

-mingyu was my first bias

-then dino

-then jun

-then i settled with joshua

-but woozi is my bias wrecker

-i got hoshi and woozi mixed up, then i shipped them without knowing they were already shipped together

-carrots

-is what i thought we were called for about two seconds and then realized it was carats

i can't seem to think of any more first impresessions/confessions, so i hope you guys enjoyed it! feel free to comment if y'all had any hilarious confessions too! thanks for reading this book, by the way! i appreciate it :)
