Chapter 7

Jenn's POV

I wake up around 10 am from my phone buzzing, but I don't bother to pick it up as I am too comfortable. I'm still getting used to my surroundings when I open my eyes but I automatically recognize the person next to me. Alyx is still sleeping soundly next to me, I can feel her breathing slowly in my neck. She pulls me closer by my waist when she feels me moving making me smile. 

I take the time to take all of her in. Her still naked body is cuddled completely in my side, her arms are fully wrapped around me and her hair is spread out on the bed. I feel so happy in this moment knowing that I finally got the one thing I always wanted.

But my moment is short lived as I hear my front door open. I can't even process what's happening before I hear "Jenn bitch, where are you?". Shit, it's Jack. I forgot that he was coming over today. 'Fuck, how am I going to face him when I'm naked in my bed with my best 'friend'' I think, already freaking out.

"Alyx, wake up" I whisper to her, gently shaking her so she would wake up. She slowly opens her eyes, automatically smiling when she sees me which makes my heart melt. "Goodmorning gorgeous" she says with a raspy voice and that makes me lean in slowly to gently kiss her soft lips. I pull back eventually cause we still have a situation here. 

"Jack is here" I say, making her realise what is happening. "What why is he here?" Alyx asks, already getting up in the bed. "I forgot that he was coming over today. But he can't see you naked in my bed, he would ask too many questions." Alyx nods. "Yeah I know, but what should we do then?" she responds, trying to get dressed as fast as she can. 

"Jack just give me a second okay?!" I shout to him from the other room, pulling my pants on. After a few seconds we're both finally fully dressed but then I spot something. "Holy shit your neck" I say to Alyx while pushing her hair to the side so I can see it better. "What's wrong?" she asks concerned.

"You can look for yourself" I reply laughing and pointing to my mirror. She stands in front of it and gasps. "Omfg Jenn what did you do?" Alyx asks shocked. I shrug innocently "Well nothing you didn't want me to do." I wink making her blush.

Alyx's POV

Waking up next to her is the best way to start the day. To see her sparkling blue eyes staring at you the first thing in the morning is amazing. She looks at me like I put the stars in her sky and it's making me feel like a lovesick teenager and I love it.

Last night was absolutely amazing, I wouldn't have done it any different way. I can just be completely myself around her and she just makes me feel so important. Something I never thought that I was but she makes me feel like it. 

But everything changes when Jack is about to burst into Jenn's bedroom. I'm still looking at all the hickeys that Jenn gave me last night. They go all the way from my neck to my waistline, it honestly looks like someone attacked me. 

There is no way I can cover them all in time, and neither can Jenn since her neck and chest are also fully covered. "Can you be any slower?" I can hear Jack yell from her living room. We are looking at eachother, not knowing what else to do.

"Maybe if we just say that you stayed the night it'll be okay? I mean it's not like we haven't slept in the same bed together." she suggest. "Yeah but what if he sees our hickeys?" I ask. "Well we can both just wear a hoodie and make sure that he won't see it okay?" Jenn proposes and I agree.

A few minutes later we're ready to go so we both take a deep breath since we're facing Jack, who knows us well enough to figure it out. After what feels like ages, we finally leave Jenn's bedroom. We try to act as innocent as we can without acting weird.

"There you finally are. What took you so long?" Jack asks Jenn once he sees her. Then his eyes go to me "I didn't know you would be here too" he concludes. "Yeah Jenn was having a bad day so she asked me to come over but it was late so I just stayed the night." I try to explain as innocently as I possibly can but his eyebrow raises questionably. 

"So what's up" Jenn quickly says, trying to switch the topic before he asks more questions. The three of us spend the afternoon together, laughing and having fun as we usually do. Jenn and I are doing a great job at pretending nothing happened in front of him and covering our hickeys.

We do however share secret looks and touches throughout the day. I feel so much joy in moments like these. Chilling with my friends and now finally with Jenn on a romantic level. We are sitting in the livingroom with Jenn and I in one couch, sitting very closely together, while Jack occupies the other.

"Hey Alyx can you pass me my phone? I put it behind the couch" Jack asks. "Yeah sure" I reply and bend my body so I can reach his phone. But because of this action, my hoodie rises up a bit, exposing my stomach which has a lot of hickeys.

"Holy fucking shit Alyx what did you do?" he asks shocked, already trying to lift my hoodie to show the rest of them. Jenn's eyes widen because he almost figured it out. "Stop it Jack, it's nothing okay" I try to make him stop but it's not going to work. I can see him trying to put the pieces together since I'm not seeing anyone and I don't go out without them.

"Jenn can I see your neck please" he asks with a smug on his face, ready to figure it out.
