Chapter 3

Alyx's POV

The way she was dancing and grinding on me was incredible. I wanted to kiss her so bad when she was standing so close to me. There was no reason why I shouldn't have but unfortunately faith wasn't with us in that moment. Right as I am about to lean in the timer of our pasta goes off, ruining our moment. Jenn snaps out of it really quick and murmurs a quiet "sorry" and steps away from me. She looks scared of my reaction so she excuses herself to the bathroom. I keep on cooking and in the meanwhile I think about what would've happened if the pasta hadn't been ready. 

I was so close to closing the gap between us and finally kissing her, something I've been wanting to do for so long. It looked like she wants it too, I mean she's the one who started grinding on me after all. I just don't want it to be awkward between us and I definitely don't wanna ruin our friendship. After 2 minutes or so she comes back more at ease than when she ran off. "So how is our dinner going?" she asks excitedly, acting like nothing had happened which I am grateful for. "It's kinda coming together which I didn't expect to be honest" I respond laughing which made her smile aswell. 

We finish making dinner and Jenn has already set the table. Jenn and I easily slip into a conversation about everything and nothing as we usually do. We don't bring up what could've happened so we're just enjoying eachothers company as we usually do. "This is actually really good. Since when can you cook?" she asks teasingly "well I had the best teacher" I respond with a wink and she looks down shyly. "Do you wanna play fortnite after this?" I wiggle my eyebrows suggestively. "Bitch you know I'm gonna win anyway" Jenn playfully replies "well watch me".

20 minutes later we sit on her bean bag again in front of her tv. We finished our meal and we cleaned up the kitchen together. We always just joke around and it's honestly the best thing ever. Jenn sets up fortnite and I'm warming up and strechting on the floor. "Not that anything is going to help you win but okay gurl" she laughs. She sits right next to me again and starts to play in squad mode. "I am starting in Tilted, how about that" she says confidently. "Let's make a bet, if you survive the first 30 seconds in Tilted I will do everything you say the rest of the evening. And if you die, you will do as I say, deal?" I suggest with a smirk. She thinks about it for a second and then she pinky promises the deal. 

Jenn's POV

I am really excited to win this deal cause then I can firstly let her make me ice cream. And secondly maybe make my move. But I'm also really nervous cause I don't know what she's going to make me do. Alyx takes her phone and puts it on timermode, which isn't helping my anxiety at all. Tilted is in fact the most dangerous spot on the map and as I am descending I see a lot of people. "Dammit, everyone is going to Tilted" I say scared as I'm about to deploy. "There are so many people in Tilted, that's perfect" she answers excitedly. I see the perfect spot to go into a building and when I finally land, Alyx puts on the timer.

My heart is beating really fast and hers probably is too. We both know what that advantage could do tonight so we both want it bad. The first few seconds are the most nerve wracking cause you could be killed in a second by a player that you can't even see. And it's not helping that I haven't found a weapon yet. "20 seconds left" Alyx quietly says. I try to go in and out the house as fast as I can and just find anything that I can protect myself with. But the only thing I find is a trap so I hide myself in a room and I set the trap on the ceiling. I can hear footsteps approaching, and I try to hide behind some boxes that are in the room. The door is slammed open and someone kills me with a shotgun making me scream but I'm still able to crawl around. My trap works cause the person is crawling on the floor aswell. "Holy shit" Alyx whispers. "5 seconds". I can hear someone else entering the house and I try to hide again to just survive the last seconds. It's dead quiet in the room and we're both just staring at the screen because there is nothing else I can do. And I then see the player standing in front of me, he starts shooting his shotgun but just as I was about to die the timer goes off. 

"You have got to be kidding me!" Alyx shouts and I am in shock, I did not expect that to happen. "I win!" I shout aswell and I get up and do a happy dance. My best friend, being her dramatic self, falls behind the bean bag on the floor and starts fake dying. After I finish my dance I make my way over to her and she sits up. I kneel next to her and whisper in her ear "make me ice cream with strawberries and get the wine" which makes her whine. "It was your deal babe, not mine" and that makes her get up. I let myself fall in the bean bag and I feel really relieved. 'Now I get to call the shots' I think. 

A few minutes later Alyx comes back in the living room with 2 bowls of ice cream and strasberries and the wine. "There ya go my lady" she says with a posh accent. "God don't ever do that again" I laugh making her pout. "Do you wanna play now?" I ask sweetly making her excited. "Ofcourse I do, and I'm going to survive longer. Watch me" she teasingly says with no further indication. "Make me" I respond making her raise her eyebrow. "Is that an order?" she asks which makes me blush. "That's for me to know and for you to find out" and she starts playing.

Alyx's POV

After 2 more hours of Fortnite and 2 bottles of wine we get tired. "Do you wanna go to sleep?" Jenn asks when she sees me yawning. I nod and I help her clean up the mess we made. I realise now that I didn't pack anything so I have no clothes to wear to sleep. "Uh Jenn, I don't think I have any spare clothes with me. Can I borrow some of yours?" I ask with a big ass smile on my face cause I love wearing her clothes since they smell like her. "You know, you can always sleep naked" she winks at me. "So is that an order or a suggestion you perv" I laugh and playfully hit her arm. "I can always try" she keeps on flirting with me. "You can wear my sweat pants and a shirt, I'm just going to wear a big shirt." She says which makes me realise that we are going to sleep in the same bed. Next to eachother. And she's barely going to wear anything. "Are you ready?" Jenn asks.
