Jenn and Alyx are best friends but they don't feel like best friends should. They are both slowly figuring out their feelings for eachother and coming to terms with who they are.
My heart already is racing in my chest already and we haven't even discussed our relationship yet. But my worries go away when I see her look at me like I'm the only girl in the world.
We sit on the blankets so we're still cosy but we can watch the stars. It's already pretty dark so I can already see a few stars but not all of them. So I turn my body so I'm facing Alyx and she's already looking at me.
"It's crazy how things worked out don't you think?" she asks me, referring to our relationship now. "I know, the craziest thing is that it took us a few years to finally get to this point" I respond while I brush her hair behind her ear.
"Even though it took us a while to get here, I wouldn't have wanted it another way" Alyx replies honestly making me smile shyly. "Honestly same. I feel like we're both in a good place right now." I say. We talk for a while about everything and nothing before I turn on my back again.
I didn't even know so much time had passed while we were talking but now the sky was fully clear. It was gorgeous. "Wow" I mumble, not believing how pretty it is.

Alyx now finally turns her body so she can see the beauty of nature. "It's beautiful" she whispers while taking my hand in hers. I can feel my heartbeat speeding up cause I know that this is the perfect moment to ask her.
I suddenly sit up making her follow me instantly, thinking something is wrong. "What's wrong babe?" she ask immediately. "I want to ask you something" I respond, now really scared of her answer. 'She won't turn you down. She has done nothing to imply that she doesn't want this as much as you do.' I try to encourage myself.
She takes my hand in hers again, trying to calm me down a bit. "Take your time" she says while she kisses my forehead. I take a deep breath and just go for it.
"I've always known that I like you more than my other friends. There was just something special about you and I couldn't quite wrap my finger around it. When we started hanging out even more and making videos together it became clear that I didn't just saw you as my best friend. But I ignored it for a few years until our fans came up with Jalyx. That was the biggest eye opener for me cause everything they said was true. Whenever we were out with friends, you were the one that I always looked for in a room. The one that I always wanted to talk to and spend time with. We just clicked on another level and I really felt that. But when we kissed that night in my bed, I just knew. I knew that I didn't want this to be a one time thing. I knew that I wanted all of you. Not just sexually but also romantically. I want to wake up next to you and share sweet kisses whenever we want instead of sneaking around so Jack wouldn't find out. I want to call you mine. So Alyx, will you be my girlfriend?" I ask now with a little more confidence.
The girl I love is now crying in front of me because of what I said. "That is the sweetest thing that anyone has ever said to me. Ofcourse I want to be your girlfriend" she responds while a tear falls down her cheek.
We both slowly lean in and my heart almost bursts out of my chest at the amount of love that we both pour into this kiss. I try to pull her even closer to me if that's possible. We slowly pull back after a minute and lean our heads together.
I've never felt this way in my entire life. A tear is also about to fall from my eye from the intense moment we just shared. She slowly pulls back to we can look eachother in the eye. I can see that Alyx has the same issues as me as she's also on the verge of crying again.
"Why are we both emotional messes?" she asks while laughing, trying to lighten the mood making me laugh aswel. "I don't even know. But don't flatter yourself babe, because I never cry" I respond while winking to her.
We stay like this for a while, just enjoying eachothers company under the stars. "This has to be what a perfect day looks like. Waking up next to a gorgeous girl, then going on a date with her and finally end the night under the stars" Alyx notices.
"Well aren't you a smooth talker" I joke to hide my blushing. "I do try" she responds. The next hour we spend laying here. We don't talk much but instead we just enjoy the peace.
We're now tangled into eachother again, laying on the bed outside. Alyx is going through my hair and massaging my scalp again. This is the most content I've ever felt in my life. "I'm so grateful that I met you" she whispers calmly.
"Yeah you went around asking strangers for pictures again like you used to" I joke making her playfully tickle me which makes me giggle. "Are you ever gonna let that one go?" she asks me to which I reply "nope, not ever".
"I do have one more suprise for you" I say while I get up and take her hand in mine. I lead her into the tent on the bed to show her what I brought.
