André and Tori sat at the kitchen table, eating breakfast before house hunting. "Let's not get excited about the first place we see. We have to make sure that this new place is a place we can raise our daughter in," Tori stated, looking through a couple of listings on her laptop. André looked around the small apartment with a sigh. This was the place he carried her through the threshold on his back after their wedding. The place where they first became intimate. The home their daughter was conceived in. However, this was the home where André found out about Tori's previous pregnancy and past. And the house that got broken into. This place had seen some of their worst moments and with a child coming, André was sure they needed a fresh start.
"So are we think that we want to stay in LA?" André asked. Tori shrugged.
"I'm flexible. I don't mind leaving LA for the right place. We just need space. I want her to have her own room and space to play," Tori informed. André agreed and started to collect the breakfast plates. As the strong athletic man cleaned out the dishwasher, Tori placed her head on her arms which were lying on the table. "You okay," Andre asked, as he looked back to see his wife. Tori nodded her head without picking it up and placed her left hand on her stomach underneath her small bump.
"Yeah," she breathed. Tori gathered her composure as the pain subsided and sat up. "That was weird, I just got an immense amount of pressure," she revealed, in the softest way possible. She didn't want to freak André out, because she knew that he would flip if she said that the pressure she felt was a little more on the ruling of pain instead of pressure. Tori got up and started towards the stairs to finish getting ready.
8:29 AM
Tori stood in the mirror in a black camisole and lightweight black and white zebra striped shorts. She quickly sprayed her hair messy blonde hair and slicked it up to a high messy bun. As she looked around, she saw her dog run into her closet and immediately thought about the dirty clothes on the floor, aka his favorite hiding place. "Busker!" Tori yelled. The, now, medium sized dog popped his head back and ran over to his owner. "Go, get on your pillow!" Tori commanded. She watched the dog run to his huge fluffy brown pillow. A few moments later, Tori doubled over the counter with "more immense pressure". "What is happening?" Tori whispered. After a few moments with no end to the pain in sight, the momma-to-be grabbed her phone and quickly dialed up her only mommy friend on FaceTime.
"Hello?" The latina answered with a smile, before seeing the state that her friend was in. "Oh, are you okay?" Alexa asked. Tori shook her head and started to shake the leg that she wasn't using for support.
"I need your help," she panted. Alexa moved from her loud living room into the office and shut the door.
"What's happing, honey?" Alexa asked. Tori placed her hands on her hips and sat on the edge of the tub.
"I'm having this pain, I'm hoping it's normal, but it feels like my uterus is pulling while on fire," Tori described as the finally started to pain dull out without totally leaving. Alexa nodded with a smirk.
"I was praying you wouldn't have to endure that. But that, my friend, is a round ligament. Your baby is causing your uterus to stretch and your uterus is not a fan," she informed. Tori took a deep breath and went back to getting ready, when she turned to the side to get her spray bottle and got a riot on the other side of the phone in return. "Look at that bump! You're showing so soon with this baby. You're only thirteen weeks!" Alexa gushed. Tori nodded and continued to fully finish her hair.
"Well, I read somewhere that women show more quickly with their second pregnancy and this is my second pregnancy. Plus, I'm carrying André's baby. I think we already knew this baby was gonna be huge," Tori laughed. Alexa couldn't deny that fact.
