I woke up later on in a extremely white place, that I first thought that I had lost my vision until I looked around more at my surroundings, finding out that I was in the hospital.
Then it all came crashing down on me.
Damon and Jordan were fighting.
Jordan had meant to throw something at Damon, but I got in the way.
I reached up my hand to the side of my head, instantly hissing in pain at the little contact I had made with my wound.
I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to figure out all life’s problems in my head.
Sadly, everything was still the same.
Valerie was dead.
My cousin was out of state.
Damon and Jordan are probably plotting each other’s death.
What now? Is Pennywise under my hospital bed ready to take me to the sewers so I can float too?
Cause I’m down for that.
I was rudely snatched away from my fantasies with Pennywise by the door roughly being shot open.
“Come join the clown, Eds.” I said quietly and creepily to my brother who had just walked in.
“You’re delusional.” He sighed.
“I hope you know that I'm mad at you.” I puffed.
Looking back at Jordan who had a face full of hurt and a hint of anger.
“Why are you defending him? He's been helping our enemy!” Jordan shouted.
I narrowed my eyes.
“He didn't tell the gang anything! He kept it all from them. Xander found us on his own.” I screamed.
We heard heels running down the hallway and a nurse revealed herself in the door frame.
“Who do you think you are? She just woke up for crying out loud, kid. She does not need this.” The nurse said sternly, glaring at the back of Jordan's head.
Jordan never broke eye contact with me before he turned on his heel, walking towards the door.
“I hope you know what your doing.” He said before leaving and closing the door behind him.
I just rested my head back down on the hospital bed when I heard the click of the nurse's heels walk towards me.
I forgot she was even here.
“How are you feeling, hun?” She asked sweetly with her southern accent.
“The pains bearable.” I shrugged.
I've been through worse.
“May I ask what happened?”
Shit.
“I, uh, broke my, uh, mom's vase and slipped on the floor?”
The nurse looked at me, skeptical clear on her features, but continued to check on me.
“Where is your mother now?”
Dead.
“She's at work. Won't get home till late. She'd kill me if she found out I broke her vase.” I chuckled nervously.
She definitely would if she were alive.
“Well, once you feel well enough to go, your clothes are on the chair over there.” She smiled.
Clothes? That's kinda creepy that they undressed me while I was out…
I peeked under the scratchy hospital blanket to find that I was in a white gown with blue dots.
Heels clicked again and the nurse left the room.
I pulled the blanket off of my body and placed my feet on the tiled floor.
I pushed myself off the bed and walked over to the chair with my clothing on it.
Pulling off the gown, I slid on my own clothes.
I walked over to the door and opened it slowly.
Walking to the waiting room where Damon and Jordan where on complete sides of the room.
Children.
I rolled my eyes and walked straight to the door of the parking lot, catching the boy's attention as I did so.
I waited for them at the curb while they were practically running to get to me.
They lead me to the car and started to drive off.
Jordan in the back with me and Damon driving.
The car ride was filled with so much tension, it felt like it was suffocating me.
We arrived back at the motel and we went up the flight of stairs to the second level to get to room 104.
Jordan slid the key card into the slot until we heard a ding.
Opening the door, I was immediately engulfed by two arms.
"Holy shi-" I gasped.
I looked down to see platinum blonde hair resting on my chest.
"Thank God you're okay!" She giggled.
I smiled and hugged her back.
"I'm alive."
We walked into the small space and I immediately plummeted onto the bed.
I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my shoulders.
I picked my face up from the pillows and saw Damon smirking down at me.
I got up to sit next to him when we heard someone's fist bang onto the dresser.
God dammit Jordan!
I turned around and glared at my brother who looked beyond pissed.
"Get your grimy hands off my sister you Italian bitch!" He yelled, making Tilly and myself flinch.
Damon got up and put his hands up in surrender.
"I swear I'm not a threat to you guys. I want to help."
"Bullshit!"
"Guys stop!" I yelled, but neither of them listened.
Jordan walked up to Damon and punched him square in the nose, shocking everyone in the room.
The shock swept Damon off his feet and onto the ground.
He immediately got up and pushed Jordan away. "Enough!" He screamed.
Jordan huffed out in anger and bolted out the door. Damon left to go into the other room, leaving Tilly and I.
"Do you think Jordan will ever forgive Damon?" She whispered.
"I don't know." I sighed.
"But it's gonna take convincing."
