The phone slipped out of the palm of my hands and onto the nightstand.

Everything was muted and I saw nothing but the white wall in front of me.

I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder and I yelped and tensed.

“Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.” I heard Damon say, though it was very quiet since I wasn't paying attention.

“I- I think I just be alone. Please?”

Everyone nodded.

They walked out of the room and closed the door behind them.

I plummeted onto the bed. I started to sob into my pillow and thought of the worst.

I don’t know when, but I eventually fell into unconsciousness.

************************

It’s dark.

I look around but there’s nothing to be seen.

Eventually, things start lighting up. I start to see a gated fence and willow trees. The grass is yellow and dead. I turn around to find rows of gravestones.

I walk up to the first one and gasp.

All ending in saying that I had killed them.

Tears were streaming down my face

I gripped my hair and screamed.

“THIS ISN’T TRUE!”

“It is true, my dear.”

I turn around to see Valerie.

“Valerie?”

Valerie looked at me with disgust.

“I raised you as my own and you stabbed me in the back. Literally. You turned your back on all of us!” Valerie yelled.

I turned around to see all my friends and family. All looked angry except Damon.

“Why did you kill us mi amore?” He looked hurt.

“I-I didn’t.” I cried.

“YOU KILLED US!” Damon screamed.

Everyone started walking towards me. I took steps back until I hit a wall. I snapped my head to the wall that wasn’t there before. I looked back to see everything has changed. We were no longer in a cemetery. I was in a cell with everyone.

They cornered me and kept screaming and yelling at me that I killed them and that I would pay.

I squeezed my eyes shut and screamed.

“STOOOOOOP!!”

And that’s just what happened. Everyone disappeared. All that was left was me and a person in a cloak, who’s face I couldn’t see.

“You killed your friends, Kinsey. How could you?” The person said. The person in the cloak didn’t have a normal voice. It was monotone and…. robotic.

“No. No I didn’t.” I said.

“Yes you did. Do I need to remind you again?”

“You don’t need to remind me because I never killed them!”

“You’re delusional Kinsey.”

I was about to speak before I felt my eyes roll to the back of my head and I found myself in a kitchen.

I was sneaking up on my mom with a kitchen knife in my hand. I tapped her shoulder and she turned around with a sweet smile.

I stabbed her in the stomach and watched her fall to the floor, spilling her blood all over the tiled floor. She was desperately trying to breath, but she couldn’t. Her eyes went white and there was no more life in her.

Memories went on one after another. All of them, I was killing my friends and family with the very same knife.

When the last memory finished, I was back in the cell with the cloak person.

“That- That wasn’t me.” I breathed out.

“You’re a monster, Kinsey.”

“NO! STOP! THAT WASN’T ME!” I screamed.

“Kinsey.”

“NO! STOP!”

“Kinsey stop.”

“NO!”

****************

“KINSEY!” I heard Jordan yell. My eyes shot open and a saw Jordan shaking me.

I jumped up and wrapped my arms around Jordan. The force caused him to fall onto the bed with me.

“You’re alive! I didn’t kill anyone!” I breathed.

“Um. Of course you didn’t. Kinsey are you on drugs?”

“I honestly don’t know anymore.”
