"You WHAT?!" Sadie shouted, slamming her hands on the table.

"I want to see her, even if it's from a distance." I said leaning back on my seat.

"Noah, I don't think she wants to see anyone, especially you. She left, and if she wanted to see you— or any of us she would have visited." Sadie said serious.

"I know that but I miss her, and every time she's anywhere on social media I get emotional." I sighed. "I need to see her, more than you think."

She thought for a while, walking from side to side.

"Ugh, fine. But you're taking Finn, I'm not stepping foot in L.A. anytime soon."

~Y/N's POV~

"Hey hey hey!! There's my favorite girl!" Sam says giving me a quick hug. "I didn't think you'd make it."

"Well I wasn't gonna let one ex-boyfriend ruin a great night. And besides, I can drink with you here and not alone watching sappy movies." I said. I took a beer snd opened it with the little opener on the counter.

"Wait, didn't you have aunt duty tonight?"

"Nah, Leo got Mom to take care of the kids." I sighed and took a big gulp of the beer.

"Man, there are no hot guys here." I shook my head no, and drank some more. We were currently leaning on the counter facing the rest of the house. Sweating bodies moved in the rhythm of the music. Some were having sex in the living room, which is totally nasty, and others were making out on corners in the dining room. The house was an open concept so you could literally see what everyone was doing from the kitchen.

"Ewe this place is nasty." I said glancing at the couple having sex in the couch.

"They closed the access to the rooms so I guess people are doing it here instead."

"Can we leave?"

"Sure. This party sucks anyway." I quickly took two more beers and opened them with the bottle opener and rushed to Sam's car.

"So, where to?" I asked buckling my seatbelt.

"Oo there's a neat coffee shop not far from here. They make the BEST lattes." Sam turned on the car and buckled up too.

"Great!" It was a fifteen minute drive from the house we were at. It was cute, and it was in the beach. Half of the shop was on the ground and the other half on top of the water, like a dock. It had a little balcony in the back and it was absolutely beautiful. "Wow." I whispered to myself. We walked in and sat on a booth. A waiter came by and took our orders and then left.

"So, the Sagg Awards are coming soon. I heard the original cast of Stranger Things got nominated for something." Sam said.

"What? Really?" I said. "But I don't think I have to go. They killed my character when I left."

"But it's still in the show."

"Well I haven't received an email. Usually the director emails every cast member."

Sam shrugged. "Life may surprise you."

"The last surprise life gave me made me move miles away from a really good life and instead it gave me—"

"Instead it gave you two nephews, life in paradise and me. You work in a hair salon part time and you are an amazing singer known worldwide. Now, if you say that life gave you horrible moments and only that, you're wrong. Yes it did give you some really hard times but also good ones." She interrupted.

"Damn, you sure are wise."

"It runs in the family." She giggled. The waiter brought us our drinks and gave Sam his phone number in a napkin. "Excuse me mister waiter!" She called. The waiter turned around and came right towards us with a small smile.

"Is there anything you need?" He asked.

"Yes, it was very generous of you but I have the most amazing boyfriend ever. I'm sure you will find someone just as good, and maybe better." She gave him the napkin back and gave him a small smile. He mouthed a quick thank you and walked away.

"If it was me I would've probably stuffed the napkin in my purse and completely forget I had it there." I said laughing. A while later we finished our coffees and paid. We gave the waiter some tips.

We started walking around the city, the city lights and sounds filled the air. I had my second beer in hand, and took sips every once in a while.

"So, 'the most amazing boyfriend ever' huh?" I said, making it sound dramatic in the middle.

"Weeeell..." she looked at me serious and we stopped walking.

"What is it? Did you break up?" She stood silent, her face completely neutral. She showed me her hand and she had a ring on it. "You're getting married?!?!?!"

"I am!!!" We squealed and I immediately hugged her.

"I can't believe it! I'm so happy for you guys." I smiled at her and we continued walking. "How did he propose? I bet it was cute."

"Come. I will show you." We walked back to her car and jumped in. We drove for ten minutes and then we found ourselves in Malibu Beach. Sam parked her car a few minutes on foot away from the dock. She grabbed my hand and dragged me towards a path. Before I knew it, we were on the area of the beach where no one goes at night, there were fairy lights hanging from the dock and a little candle path that led to the dock. A bit cliche if you ask me but it was cute. "He took me over here as the radio played a retro love song circa 1940. We dressed the part and once we were on the dock we sat and talked. After that he said he would take me to the nearest diner but before we even left the dock he proposed with a heartwarming speech." She squealed again.

"God, I wish I was hiding somewhere so I could film it."

"Actually I have a few pictures his friends took. It's in my phone, do you mind waiting here for a few minutes?" She pleaded.

"Yeah, sure. Let's just hope that the crazy fans are at home." I chuckled. She flashed me a quick smile and left. I made my way to edge of the dock and sat, my feet dangling from above barely touching the water.

I took in the view that most people would love to see. I actually live where people take vacations and it's awesome. I hear a few steps behind me but I didn't bother to turn, since it was obviously Sam. But whoever was there stood silently and that's when I realized it was definitely NOT Sam.

"CREPPY FAN STALKER!" I yelled as I stood up and turned face to face with the 'creepy fan stalker'.

"I'm not even a fan Y/N." Sadie said, arms crossed over her chest and a dead glare over her face.
