~Noah's POV~

It's been a few days since Y/N bailed on me and I haven't heard a single word from her. Nothing. Not even in social media. It's like she turned into some kind of ghost. Anyway I spent my valentines day with Sadie. I felt like a total idiot, and I don't know why.

"Hey I bought us our plane tickets back to our sweet Atlanta. We leave in two days." Sadie chirped and I gave her a thumbs up as I continued to watch the movie playing on the TV.

Sadie has been really happy these past few days and it's because her boyfriend, Thomas, is coming back from the U.S. Army next week. Tom being away in Russia for almost two years had Sadie in a depressing state. The sudden knocking on the door drove me away from my thoughts.

"Could you please take it? I'm still making the lasagna." Sadie said.

"On it." I jog to the door and open it slowly, revealing a worried Y/N. Great.

"Hi." She says.

"What." I spat, not wanting to talk to her. Not after after what happened.

"I'm sorry, I really am. I never planned to... can we talk about it outside?" She practically begged. I didn't say anything, I just slammed the door shut and ran towards my room looking for a random sweatshirt.

"Where are you going mister?" Sadie asked.

"Going out." She started talking but I didn't listen. I quickly locked the door and started walking with Y/N. We didn't say a word til' we arrived at the dock. "So...?"

"Noah, I was in an accident, on my way here the other day." She spat. "I'm really sorry for not calling earlier, I didn't know what to say."

"I'm so stupid." I mumbled. Why didn't I think of that?! Accidents happen to people all the time. I'm such an ass.

"Hey this is not your fault. You did nothing wrong. I was supposed to tell you earlier," She sighed. "Just a few minutes ago you probably hated me, I could tell."

"Why do you say that?"

"Noah, I know you well enough to know when you're REALLY mad at someone." Y/N giggled.

"I'm sorry. I thought you left, again." Silence filled the evening breeze. It was still cold over here, but it wasn't freezing like in New York. I paid a visit to my parents before coming all the way to California.

I randomly started thinking about the times when we were working in Stranger Things. I didn't know what to feel. Those memories are either really good or really bad. This girl has me going crazy for her since long ago.

"I've missed you, so much Noah. I thought of you every day, for years." She held my hand and looked at me. Her eyes still sparkle when she's happy. I gave her a smile and gently squeezed her hand.

"I missed you too. Y/N I'm—" I got cut off by her phone ringing. She looked at the caller and answered.

"Hey...... mjm.... no I'm fine actually... ooh sounds great.... okay but pick me up at the hotel.. no you know where I am just pick me up.. okay love you too." She hung up. "Sorry that was Mason, he's kind of my manager."

'Kind of my manager'? What the fuck. He must be her friend. What if mAsOn is her boyfriend? NOPE. SHE IS SINGLE. If she had a boyfriend it would have been all over social media and I wouldn't have come here. I nodded in response. I didn't want to say anything stupid so I guess I'll shut my mouth hole.

"Can I buy you something? As an apology." She politely asked.

"If you insist." I replied. We walked and talked nonstop for what felt like days or maybe even weeks. She told me stories about when she started with music and then how sudden everything went.

We went to a small coffee shop and ordered some snacks. Nothing too heavy.

"Hey so I am going to meet Steve Carell! He's like my idol. Since I started therapy all I watched were his movies and 'The Office'." She said enthusiastic, and took a sip of her lemonade.

"The what?"

"'The Office'. It's a pretty old show. Steve is the manager and it has the best jokes ever."

"Never heard of it." I laughed.

"WHAT?! That show is like a freaking LEYEND." She stopped to process and gasped. "We have to do something. Binge watch it in my place AND have pizza!"

"Dude YESSSSSS. I'm free everyday for now. Haven't done a single thing since Stranger Things."

"Really? I could help you with that if you want. Mason is amazing looking for auditions. He's got connections everywhere." She said slurping the last bit of her lemonade.

I took a bite of my chocolate muffin and spoke, food still in my mouth. "Well I guess we could go audition hunting some day. I'm not ready yet though."

"Oh I understand." We stood up and Y/N paid. We started walking back to the hotel.

"Soo when is that friend date happening?" I asked. I really wanna tell her that I still love her. I WAS gonna tell her but her bOyFrIeNd interrupted me.

"Well I have Friday and Saturday free next week. You could stay over. The show has nine seasons so get prepared to DIE."

My eyes widened and she laughed. "I'm just kidding!"

Our laughter died and I took this opportunity. "Y/N I'm in l—" I got cut off by a guy in a yellow car beeping.

"That's my ride. What were you gonna say?" She said climbing in the car.

"Nothing. I'm in love with that car!" I faked. Damn it that dude again!!!

"Oh well thanks. It's my baby." She smiled and waved goodbye. The car zoomed away and I stood there, hating myself for a while. I started walking towards my room. I'm really looking forward to Friday. I'm gonna ask her out. I'm gonna tell her that I never stopped loving her, and that she's the love of my life.
