~Y/N's POV~

"What are you doing here?" I said completely confused.

"You should be asking him that." Sadie crossed her arms and turned around, facing a bush.

"Damn it you stupid bush!" A male voice said, the bush shaking vigorously. A boy around my age walked away from the bush sending death glares to it. He turned around and faced me. Suddenly everything made perfect sense. I knew those hazel eyes and those small moles in his neck. I recognized the light brown hair and the noodle arms. It was Noah.

"What the fuck is going on?" I said.

"Shouldn't we be asking that?" Sadie blurted, her arms still crossed over her chest.

"Sadie can you leave us alone for a while?" Noah asked, sounding a bit desperate.

"Gladly." She started walking away and disappeared into the distance. As soon as Sadie left it started to feel awkward. I shoved my hands in my pockets and took a quick glance at the boy in front of me.

"God," Noah sighed. "I have imagined this— us united again so many times, but not like this..."

"Me too."

"Then why did you leave in the first place?!" He shouted.

"I-I'm sorry okay! I didn't mean to leave all of a sudden, I had to." I explained, but not enough apparently.

"What made you leave? Was it Jack? Was it me?" Tears were already forming in his eyes, he was making an effort on holding them in.

"It had nothing to do with us. It was about my family. My goddamn family." I mumbled the last part, but he heard it.

"Tell me. Please, we used to be so close to each other. I missed you and I still do, every day of my life I thought about you." A tear slipped through his cheek and that was it, I couldn't see him like that. I walked up to him and I wiped the tear with my thumb.

"I missed you too, more than anything. I wanted to go back but I couldn't. I had to move on." I sighed, my hand on his shoulder. "Come." I sat in the edge of the dock, Noah behind me. We sat there and I started thinking of how to tell him everything. "My dad was arrested for sexual abuse and murder. I had to go to trial, they needed to ask me questions. It was all in Kansas, that's why I left that night. I was scared and I... I was afraid of what you would all think of me for leaving like that. My mom begged me to leave the show forever, and how could I say no? Mom still loved dad, she loved him even if he did all of those horrible things. Dad had no alibi, he actually confessed, he sounded proud of himself for killing an innocent girl and sexually abusing other girls. Noah I saw a monster that day. I saw a maniac. My dad was long gone." A few tears started falling but I kept on talking. "I went to therapy for almost seven moths after dad's confession. That's when I started healing and I started playing guitar. I never imagined that I was gonna be a famous guitarist but life turns." I paused.

"I've seen you play, I never missed a performance and I always was one of the first few people to see your videos on social media. I never got over you Y/N." I stayed silent. I didn't feel the same way anymore.

"What happened over there when I left?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Not much. Millie left to London, Finn got engaged, Sadie's now a cosmetics model, oh and Finn's a director too. Caleb and Gaten filmed a movie in Australia and they live there now, Chloe moved to Spain and I didn't do anything with my life." He explained.

"Wow that's great for them. What about Jack?"

"He um, he was in an accident and he um, he's in, he's in coma. He got in a car accident and his spine fractured, they found him unconscious and he hasn't woken up since."

"How long?"

"Two years. We even thought about disconnecting him, but Finn had hope. He always thought that his best friend would wake up one day, and that you would come home too." He said, his gaze on the small waves below us. There was silence for a while, until I spoke up.

"I missed on so much. Sometimes I wish I would've never left." I sighed. "But on the bright side, I have two nephews, and I have my brother, who is heartbroken because his wife died." I put my face in my hands and cried softly. I let so many people go, all for my fucked up dad. He's not even my dad he's just a guy who gave his sperm so I could be alive, and he raised me too but that was just a big fat lie apparently.

"I'm sorry for your loss." He said and he put his hand on my shoulder in reassurance.

"Me too. Too bad sorry won't make her come back."

"Anyway, we both missed out on a lot in each other's lives, so I was thinking if maybe you wanted to have lunch tomorrow?"

"Sure. My shift ends at 11 in the morning so meet me here?"

"Yeah." He smiled, and oh how I missed his smile.

"Goddamnit! I have to go look for Sam." I said, kinda loudly.

"Who's Sam?" Noah asked.

"She's my friend, she left like half an hour ago to look for her phone but then you showed up and I completely forgot about her." I started looking around for my phone and I picked it up from the dock. I started walking away.

"Don't forget about brunch!" Noah yelled. I turned around and hopped backwards.

"I won't! Byeee." I yelled back and waved with both of my arms. He did the same. I turned around and rushed towards the parking lot. I saw Sam's car and hopped on.

"Talking to Noah huh? I knew he was coming back to you." She wiggled her eyebrows and started the car.
