~Y/N's POV~

I flutter my eyes open and glance at the clock on my nightstand. It was 10 in the morning, the sun shone brightly and the warmth in my bed prevented me from rolling out. As my body woke up I could feel an arm wrapped around my body, that's when last night's events came rushing to my mind.

I am engaged! I can't possibly be having sex with my ex. I suddenly felt Noah shift in his sleep and my body stiffened.

"Morning." Noah softly said. I rolled to my side, facing him, and gently smiled. "You ok?"

"Yeah, it's just..." I sighed heavily and continued. "Last night was great but it can never happen again."

"I still don't understand what is so bad about the idea of us." Noah gazed at me, sadness in his face. "Do you feel it? The incessant need to be with each other?" What he said had me thinking, ever since I left all I have done is think about him and now I have him right here with me.

"Every day..." I whispered. I gathered my courage and prepared myself to tell Noah the truth. "I'm engaged. That's why none of this can happen and why no one can know it happened." Noah's face changed, and I have never seen him this way.

"You're cheating with me." Noah moved further away from me. He ran his hands in his hair pulling at it in frustration. "Answer me sincerely. Did you ever stop loving me?"

"Never."

"Do you love me now?" His words were barely a whisper.

"I don't know. Probably. Maybe." I trailed off. "Look, my engagement is not public because you know how people can be. I love my future husband but to be honest, I felt like last night was in a way right."

"What?"

"I'm saying that if you're okay with it, we can keep this up. Ever since I saw you in the docks I haven't been able to shake this feeling, the same feeling I had several years ago." I gently explained. "It'll only be until I find a way to tell Mason."

"Is that the guy who picked you up the other day?" He curiously asked. I nodded in response.

Noah leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips. His hands roamed all around my bare body sending shivers down my spine. The kiss deepened, both of us push and pull our bodies while the blanket above us slowly reveals what's beneath it. The cold breeze of the morning against my body felt surprising, making me pull away from the kiss.

"Is this a yes?" I sheepishly inquire.

"What do you think?" Noah asserted with a smirk on his face. "Just don't take long. I want you all to myself." Noah mumbled in a rather sexy way.

"I have to run. Mason got me another gig at a talk show in two hours, and that is barely enough time for me to get ready." I glanced at the time on my phone as I spoke. I gave Noah a quick kiss and headed to the shower.

~Noah's POV~

I watched the girl of dreams walk inside the bathroom. I put on my clothes and decided to make breakfast, just like last time we slept in the same place. I sprinted happily to the kitchen as I grabbed everything I needed from the fridge and cupboard, this time making sure not to make a mess in her tidy apartment.

I whipped up some pancakes, remembering how we used to make them when we shared the cabin with the Stranger Things cast and did it as best as I could. I made some coffee and as if on cue, when I was setting the food on the table I could hear Y/N walking from her room to the kitchen.

"Aww, you remembered!" She chimed in.

"How could I not." I gave her a kiss leaning on the kitchen island that stood between us and poured some coffee. Y/N quickly dug into her food, pressuring herself, every ten seconds checking her phone for the time.

"Thermos." She stated, pointing to a cupboard across her. I stood up and transferred her halfway drunk coffee into a black thermos and handed it to her. "The food was great Schnapp. I really have to go." I pecked the girl's lips and she made her way rather quickly to the entrance.

"I love you!"

"I love you too Noah. Lock before you leave and don't let anyone see you." She emphasized the word 'anyone'. I showered and dressed up, ready to go job hunting.

~Y/N's POV~

You might think I'm delusional for the fact that I haven't broken up with Mason. In fact, I'm looking for my wedding dress while I work on a speech revealing to the world that I have been engaged for almost a year. Realizing this, I started thinking about how devastated Mason will be once I tell him about Noah.

"Girl, what's with the face?" Sam asked in her raspy voice.

"I've been thinking lately, and I don't know if I'm ready to walk down the aisle." I regretted admitting that to my friend as soon as I heard myself talk.

"Oh hun you cannot get cold feet weeks before the wedding!" Sam shook me as if that would get rid of the 'cold feet'.

"You will probably hate me if I told you why. Hell, you will surely hate me." I sighed in defeat. I felt so bad lying to my best friend, I'm hiding what could be the most important relationship in my life from the person who took me under her wing when I was alone.

I glanced at my beautiful dress, it was perfect. The dress was white of course, with pearls on the top and the bottom was just like a princesses dress. It was just as I imagined it would be, but it doesn't feel right. "I have to talk to Mason."

I unzipped myself and threw on the summer dress I came to the boutique in. "Now? In the middle of your dress fitting?!" Sam exasperated.

"I'll see you later!" I yelled as I threw on my jean jacket. I ran out of the boutique and kept going as fast as my legs could take me. I never looked back and I even left my car behind. I got to Mason's office building where he worked with other managers doing paperwork and scheduling auditions and activities. I  ran inside and whacked the 4 button on the already open elevator inside the building. I could feel my breath quicken out of anxiety and fatigue. Soon the elevator doors opened and I nervously pushed away everyone in my path. After wandering the office cubicles I finally found Mason in the lunchroom wearing a black button-up shirt. He waved off his co-workers and came towards me.

"Hey hon." He was gonna kiss me in the empty room but I softly pushed him away. "What's wrong?"

"I'm cheating on you."
