John and Midnight, were close friends from elementary school. They later became the founding members of The Blazing Arrows. The two dated in 2012 but called it quits due to the public finding out and Midnight calling the relationship off, to focus more on music. The two were still friends, but John for the next three years kept trying to get Midnight back, which secretly, was one of reasons she decided to move to Korea.

Jaehyeong, a member of The Rose met Midnight when she was watching an underground performance of a band. She had a face mask and cap on, so he couldn't tell who she was. The two became friends, and Midnight developed feelings for the older boy. The two started dating in September of 2019, and have been dating since, keeping a low profile when near each other in front of the camera, and preferring to keep the affection behind closed doors. The public does not know about them. Yet.
